And now….Roki Sasaki. Only way I can get him to show up as a IAFA is to adjust his age down to 19.
See if this works for everyone to get teams to bid on him. Once he signs with a team please edit his birth year to be 2001 versus 2005. With his accurate birth year he doesn’t show up as a IAFA?? Assuming OOTP only develops/shows players under 20 years old?

Some Pirates fixes:

Andy Haines was fired as Pirates hitting coach in October. Matt Hague is the new HC.

Oscar Marin (Pirates pitching coach) was born on December 5, 1982, in Los Angeles CA.

Bit of a weird one, but Joe DelliCarri has been promoted to Vice President - Scouting. Former Red Sox exec Justin Horwitz was hired in November 2023 to fill his old role of director of amateur scouting.

Other staff issues:

David Popkins was fired as Twins HC this offseason. Matt Borgschulte was brought over from Baltimore to replace him. Cody Asche (not added as a coach) will be the new O's HC.

Guillermo Martinez was fired as Toronto HC as well. Replacing him will be... David Popkins.

Ex-DBacks 3BC Tony Perezchica is the new 3BC for the Astros, replacing Gary Pettis. Shaun Larkin will be the new DBacks 3BC.

Andy Fox was not retained as Red Sox 1BC. Jose Flores (not added as a coach, born 1/1/1971, BBRef ID: flores003jos) will be his replacement. (Note: the game currently has him listed as being born in America with no city of birth given, but he's actually Puerto Rican, born in Cidra.)

White Sox stuff: Eddie Rodriguez and Charlie Montoyo are long gone; I think both were fired at the same time Grifol was. Justin Jirschele was promoted from managing AAA Charlotte to be the new 3BC, and Walker McKinven (not in the game at all) was hired as the new bench coach.

Replacing Jirschele in Charlotte is Sergio Santos, formerly at AA Birmingham. I haven't been able to find who Birmingham's new manager will be.

Ex-Cleveland HC Chris Valaika is the new Reds HC. Replacing Valaika for the Guards will be Grant Fink.

Tigers GM Jeff Greenberg is from Upper St. Clair, PA.

Doug Davis should be unretired and added back as manager of AAA Round Rock Express.

Marlins staff shakeup: HC John Mabry, 1BC Jon Jay, and 3BC Griffin Benedict were all let go as part of the house-cleaning at the end of the season. Pedro Guerrero (not added as a coach, born 12/3/1986, BBRef ID: guerre003ped) will be the new hitting coach. Taking over at 3BC will be ex-Reno Aces manager Blake Lalli. Tyler Smarslok (not in the game at all) will be the new 1BC.

Ozzie Timmons was not retained as Brewers HC for 2025. Replacing him is Connor Dawson.

As best I can tell, Oscar Bernard is only the *assistant* Giants hitting coach. Pat Burrell (currently retired) is the lead hitting coach.

Bryan Price resigned as Giants PC in October. Replacing him will be J.P. Martinez (not added as a coach, BBRef ID: martin004jon).

I’m considering updating teams top 30 prospects as Baseball America released those this week. Timing of that would be TBD.

I’m going to update ratings/talents for the Baseball America top 30 prospects for each team. It will take a few days. I was able to knock out 4 teams this morning.

Once I have a better idea on release date I will update group!

I've noticed that, using this save file, the ratings system is how it was in past OOTPs (missing BABIP/PBABIP/HRA under contact and movement, respectively) has anyone else noticed this and/or been able to fix it?

you have to change it back in game settings. tick the box that says 'show babip in player pages'
