The Angels beat the Blue Jays 5-2.

Eleven losses in a row.

Before this streak started, Toronto was 17-11 and off to a good start.

Those days seem like a distant memory.

WP - Alfredo Baez (4-2)
Save - Travis Rowsell (15)
LP - Gustavo Gomez (3-1)

Record - 17-22

Feng Khu is activated from the IL.

Phil Coleman is sent to Buffalo.

Maybe this is the spark they need.

It looked like the Jays would break their losing streak. It really did.

They had a 6-1 lead after 4. Then, in extras, they scored to take the lead in the 15th, only for Dan Kidd to blow the sac without even recording an out.

The Orioles won, 8-7.

Even worse, the Orioles pitchers knocked two players out of the game with hand injuries - both Leonard O'Neill and Feng Khu (in his first game back).

If that wasn't bad enough, pitchers Duane Underwood and Jon McNamara also left the game with injuries.

Was there anything good? Well, slumping Buck DeVal went 3 for 5 with a home run.

Not enough.

Twelve losses in a row.

WP - Anastasio Garcia (2-1)
LP - Dan Kidd (0-2)

Record - 17-23

Eugene Silver was named Player of the Week for his AAA league.

For the Bigs it was Albert Almora, Yankees & Wendell Stark, Giants

The Jays have dropped all the way to #31 on the Weekly Power Rankings (ahead of only Oakland).

Tomas Rojas is sent to Buffalo.

Eugene Silver is recalled.

The Jays celebrated like they just won a World Series. Can you blame them? After losing 14 in a row, they beat the Tigers, 9-3.

Mike Clevinger set the stage and then a Eugene Silver home run led the offence.

WP - Mike Clevinger (3-3)
LP - Heath Hambree (1-1)

Record - 18-25

I am starting to think that the 'unlucky' Jays are actually the real Jays after all.

(well, except for injuries. They HAVE been very unlucky with those.)

Today the Tigers beat them, 14-2.

The Jays did not manage a hit until the 8th, and that was the only hit they would get, as they lost, 4-1, to the Yankees.

WP - Zach Eflin (3-1)
Save - Bo-young Park (11)
LP - Josh Berry (2-3)

Gustavo Gomez pitched well enough for Dan Kidd to avoid blowing the save. (A 3-run save turned into a 1-run save, but he still got it done.)

The Jays beat the Rays, 5-4.

WP - Jake Fields (2-0)
