Tigers pitcher Casey Mize will undergo Tommy John surgery

No surprise here based on the type of injury and how long it's taken him to recover.

The Cubs are thinking of getting rid of Contreras. I looked at their AAA franchise.

Not one player under age 27 is hitting higher than .224. Ouch.

Faedo had ZERO command today. He has pitched well leading up to this game so hopefully this is just a minor speed bump sort of bad day.

While at the same time they're pitching staff has, overall, had a pretty good season (even despite all the injuries). What an odd year for the Tigers.
