It would be amazing if AI could understand consept of bad contracts. For example you had to give away pick/prospect to get rid of bad contracts. Now you just can shop bad contracts away way too easily. After a learning how FHM basics works it gets a little bit too easy for sure. Im playing with Florida atm and getting rid of Bobrovsky contract wasnt problem.

Hopefully we'll get some details around FHM 8 soon with the new NHL season starting in around 6 weeks time.

I'm really hoping that they've taken some of the feedback on board and made relevant changes.

Live scores (like in OOTP) and out of town scores during played out games (preferably with viewable highlights).

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already or not.

After the draft lottery I think draft picks for that year should have a number next to it showing which pick # it is. Sometimes when I am trying to make trades during the draft if I have 2 picks in the same round, I dont know which one is which and it would make it a lot easier to make sure I am trading a specific pick and not one that I am trying to hold onto.

Agree! There are so many times that i have accidentally traded for the wrong pick. :/

Obviously speculating here, but I would imagine that's not a too unrealistic expectation, all things considering.

Like our not, fight is a important part of the hockey, persons out of usa and canada know hockey, almost, only because the fights.
Then how about add in pbp details of fight, like already hapens in EHM.
I would like that a feature like that was add in a future patch in fhm 7 our in fhm 8,

Please add the ability to print the box score of any game played with full details. this is the one thing really missing in this game

In historical mode would like to see the player picture graphics show them helmet-less/mask-less, and have that evolve over time as it actually did. Oddly there is a news item that appears in the 1950's about the first goalie to wear a mask during a game, even though the graphics have them all wearing masks much earlier.

Also the ability for creating mods based on real life goalie masks would be great.

I really enjoy Fhm7, but I think it could be even better

Especially the play in European leagues:

1) More transfers from AHL/ECHL to European leagues: Right now when you reach Year 8-9 or so in IceHL, EIHL or DEL, most of the import players are from other European countries. In real life especially those leagues' teams have at least 7-8 North American players on the roster. However in FHM players, who are solid in AHL/ECHL but not good enough to make the NHL (regularly), tend to stay in North America (a lot of times in the game they even prefer SPHL or Canadian senior leagues) too often instead of being interested to go to Europe.

So I would love for more North American players to go overseas, as I think now there is not enough transfers happening.

2) This is regarding only IceHL: Right now in FHM, Austrian players do not count as foreign players for teams from other nations, however in real life an Austrian player would be a import on a non-Austrian players.

Generally, I think it would be awesome if you had more customization options in regards to who counts as foreign player in a league and each individual team. (also in custom leagues)

3) More and better customization in Europe: The way you can customize the NHL with expansion etc. is awesome and gives the game so much life.
However, I would also like to customize Champions Hockey League (for instance set how many teams per league qualify, which leagues participate, also change format to have more/less teams etc.), expand some of the European leagues or even completely move a team to another league.

4) Assign/change farm and junior teams of European teams (this would be especially needed to improve KHL expansion).

5) Create Champions League(s) and have national teams in Custom Leagues. I think those two things are really missing to have a truly immersive experience with your custom universe. Having competions between the top teans from universe's leagues and having the best players represent their countries in world championships would be a huge addition to the experience.

Looking forward to fhm8, as I think generally this game is really improving from year to year
