Hi,

I would like to report that any new game that I try to start has hundreds of duplicate players in the FA pool as well as duplicate coaches of all types.

Please note I have tried this with different start dates and the same thing happens.

Furthermore- and I'm not sure it is related - I played with this problem and then once the minor leagues started my league died because the Ghost Players function is broken too. Despite this being ticked YES, the minors could not play due to missing players. I could not resolve it by filling minor league teams with fictional players, and I had to give up.

I would really like to be able to play this game again, but I currently can't see a way to resolve it.

I had been using Advanced start, so I tried a start without using Advanced and that resolved the issues with the roster. So, the bug may have to do with Advanced start.

Would suggest a ticket be opened if others can replicate the bug.

Will Smith's (Braves RP) contract is wrong. The contract itself is right, but it should have started in 2020 as opposed to 2021 (what it is showing now). There should be 2 and 1 TO remaining (currently showing 3 and 1 TO).

Wyatt Tucker (2023 draft class) has a listed historical minors ID of "engelk000zac" which is completely wrong and corresponds to a different player

Both of these have already been fixed in the db for quite a while. I think there's a bug though, that has players keeping old B-Ref id's if those are cleared out and the field set to blank in the db. So we'll have to take a look at this.

To deal with it for now I gave Tucker his actual B-Ref id and Tiedemann a fake one (which is likely what he'll actually have whenever B-Ref gets around to adding him to their db). So that should fix both of these next patch.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but the San Antonio Missions are listed as the Padres AA team. Padres AA team is now the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Game list Amarillo in Diamondbacks organization.
I believe San Antonio is now part of Brewers minor league system.

After the restructure of the minors for 2021, San Antonio is back to being a AA team for the Padres. Amarillo is now Arizona's AA team. See the link below for the new structure...it is correct in the game.

Checked MilbMaster.csv and he is not present per his id vaughn000and.importable. he is also not listed in the Master.csv and can not be manually imported from that database either.

He IS present when you load New Standard Game using the 2021 rosters on the start screen.

Minor League id: vaughn000and (2017 debut)

A thousand apologies. I thought I was up on my minor leagues but not anymore, a lot has changed this year. The Sod Poodles weren't with the Padres very long.

So any issues here would actually be with the historical db.

One thing, he actually isn't supposed to debut in 2017 as you have listed, only 2019. 2017 he was in college which doesn't get included in the historical db.

I'll check and see if he's properly listed in the historical db for a 2019 debut though.

EDIT: Looks like he's not in the historical db. So we'll fix that up and add him in.

In hindsight that NCAA as the league on Baseball Reference stands out a lot more than I remember. Thank you!

Somehow this never got updated, sorry. I just did so now, so should be good for the next patch.

I applied the patch, I see the players.csv file under data > database is updated as of May 26, I started a new 2021 MLB game, but I still see a number of transactions which haven't been applied. For example, Cam Bedrosian was let go by the Reds over a month ago, signed with the A's on May 1, and has been with them ever since. Deivy Grullon hasn't been in the Reds system since April 6 but is on their AAA roster.

The other day I happened to do a clean install of the game from the last patch and still saw the same rosters. Am I doing something wrong and things aren't updating on my end?

The MLB Rosters are as of Opening Day, so any moves made after the season started will not be reflected in the roster set. If you want the up to date moves, you would have to use Live Start and all the moves will be made, but you will also get stats...or you will manually have to make the moves.

The updates as of 5/26 are for the US Indy Leagues whose seasons are just beginning, so there will be some players who have had their contracts purchased from the Indy Leagues that are either on the team they were purchased from or free agents...and maybe some tweaks to the draft class and ratings.

There's an issue with Chi Chi Gonzalez's 2021 stats in live start. It looks like they're in the files as "Alonzo Gonzalez", a separate player from the rest of Chi Chis career stats.

I fixed this in the db, but it won't actually show up in game until the next patch.
