Chalk one (and probably only one) up for your defending World Series Champions!
If I can't root for the Knights, I guess I will root for the home team D-Backs.

The Orioles were in Milwaukee then moved to St. Louis and then to Baltimore (interestingly enough they needed permission from the Washington Senators to move there, but now won't give permission for a team in the other league to move back to DC) So the Braves aren't as unique as you thought, heck even the Yankees weren't always in New York, they started as the Baltimore Orioles before moving to be the New York Highlanders (later the Yankees) |

There was a small squeak from across the pond in Scotland.........
MLB:Mariners NHL:Sharks (Until Seattle get a team again) NBA:Sonics NFL:Rams(The first american team I ever saw playing anything at all. I was 6. <sniff>) I follow all things Seattle (Pilots, Metropolitans, Sounders etc. Although the Metropolitans and Pilots are a wee bit before my time. I think the Metropolitans are Seattle's only Champion team?) |
