.307/.329/.471, 7 HR, 10 SB... pretty typical year but no triple crown

I picked up Ted Williams (96) to DH and he has a .896 OPS.

I have a team that's mostly Blue Jays or players that have played on the Blue Jays/Former Prospects

There are a couple pitchers and position players that never did but I'm still trying to field a competitive team. It's less than 25% outside of my criteria... not sure if that disqualifies me lol

I started a team last week that only uses players named "Michael" "Mike" or "Mickey" (had to expand to Mickey to make it slightly more feasible.

Currently in bronze and likely to stay there for a long time until I can afford some of the diamonds.

Man, things are not looking great for our diamond theme teams! All four of us are well under .500. I upgraded my MadBum to Matthewson, but am still slipping.

Gold may be the place to be next week...

As stiff as the competition has been this season, Dee Gordon has been amazingly surprising for me lol.

So far: .328, 2 HR, 24 RBI, 33 stolen bases (leading a Rickey Henderson by one) 1.4 WAR

Wow, how much did Christy cost you? I keep on trying to save up for some of the big ticket players but the cash blows a hole in my pocket.

35k PP, honestly not too bad for a solid diamond historical SP. But yeah I did shell out $20 to make it happen. MadBum stuck around wayyyyy too long in my rotation with negative WAR three years in a row...had to go

The G302 league ended, Greenwells Boston team and my Kennesaw Indians survived for another season in gold. Unfortunately Kellam's Future team, and AncientMariners Seattle team are getting relegated to silver.

GL next season. This one was a miserable week for my Mariners team- especially for Paxton lol. There are two potential upgrades- and big ones- that I can get and stay 100% theme. One is doable (Randy Johnson 100), but A Rod (the Top WAR SS one) is a few hundred thousand PP (the rare sightings I've seen on the AH). That is actually the one I need most, as this season was spent training up Bret Boone at SS since Segura has performed absolutely abysmal defensively there over the seasons.

So maybe I'll make it back to join you guys, but not sure if that will happen before OOTP 20.

I was in D364 with you in the same division. We spent most of the year in 4th and 5th place, but my Dodgers starting playing .550 ball in July and August and .600 in September. After being away most of Saturday, I was surprised to see they won the division with around a .512 record IIRC.

Also got lucky enough to find a Fernando Valenzuela (though not that great) sitting on the AH tonight. It was the first time he had been purchased as the history showed all zeroes. I have a feeling I could flip him for a profit, but he'll stay with the team. Hope he does well, but he gives up a lot of HRs it looks like.
