I am the Beechwood Bucaneers, who are you? My plans are to Keep the league hopefully and I am looking forward that the Teams who made my Players go nuts go upwards and give me time to get my mookie and trout in about 20 weeks (I will not spent any Money) There are really some stacked Teams in this league. The leading Team in the other divsion is simply attrocious (and i have to Play them 5 times which will give one win if Christmas and Easter fall on the same day) |

Anyway, my team will hopefully get shipped out, although having the really good team move up will help. How about those Vancouver Ferrous Men? |

I should rename my team the Angels. Mike Trout has over 6 WAR and was Player of the Month in July, but the rest of the team keeps him in safe distance of the playoffs.

Woke up this morning to find the Healy Hoggs 61-59, with a half-game lead in the second wildcard...
Went 15-11 in July and are 8-5 so far in August. Our starters are suddenly 3rd-best in our conference, and we've allowed the 5th-least runs somehow.

Leading a Diamond Division of Death, with 3 of top 4 teams and the 3 best current winning streaks. 4 of my division's team have Trout, Betts, and Sale. One team doesn't. I think you can figure out which team that is.
Starting a run of divisional series right now, so we'll see how things shake out. Facing Sale, Degrom, Smoltz, Pedro, Big Unit, and Johnny Vander Meer in the next week. Ugh. Last edited by DonkeyKongSr; 12-28-2018 at 06:12 PM. |

My Cardinal team is leading their division and is having a good season in silver.
My Direwolves team is once again in the basement. Offense is decent but the pitching never improves no matter what I do. |

When Cy Young favorites collide and you narrow the gap in the race
![]() Luque has been deGromed a bit, with 5 no decisions and 1 loss in games when he gave up 1 run, so it was nice his offense showed up this time. |

Three minutes to the deciding game against the overpowered Ferrous Men in a three game series.....I'm semi confident. I need wins whenever I can get them. D322 league.

My Diamond team went 22-5 in August. 4 of those losses were by Carlos Carrasco, who was 14-7 prior to the month and lead the league in Wins last year. This game really does hit you hard with the hot and cold streaks sometimes.
Anyway, I now have a 2 game lead on the entire league. These stats are evidence that Pitching & Defense win games. Middle of the pack hitting, elite pitching & D. Not shown: 1 Passed Ball all season by running Charles Johnson and Jason Varitek nearly all season. Finally dumped CJ's negative bat for Manny Sanguillen (one of the top Contact catchers) and so far not seeing much difference. It is so hard to get catcher production at the plate. Yay, end-of-the-week updates!
So, The Last City Vanguard, my main team, are in Diamond .318 and in a slight lead for WC1. Anything is possible with five or six teams realistically fighting for two wild card slots, so it's gonna be an insane Saturday! Jed Lowrie continues to be the most insane person off the bench and Brandon Nimmo continues to have an OPS in the upper .800s, we love one smiley boi. I extend my fullest regards to Taiwan and Taunton in their struggles, but the BIGGEST ups to my boy chazzycat and the absolutely MAGICAL Humboldt Green. IDK how you do it, but whatever you've built that team on is INSANE and Mickey Rivers is the God Of The Entire World. My experimental secondary team, the Mute City Blue Falcons (who are built with small ball in mind) are #1 on the power rankings in their first league and are probably going to fall to a particularly rather titanic team on the other side. Nobody's even particularly killing it on this team, it's just a whole unit of people that are performing slightly above-average. The greatest news is that I've been visiting my dad this week, and him being a huge baseball-stats kinda guy, we got his team started! The Solana Beach Schmoolies got a few lucky pulls in the starter packs, as well as some real lucky achievements (such as a 16-game winning streak!) that allowed him to pick out some guys that'll make the team pop! 5th in the entry pool, and the current tops of the team are Aaron Nola, '07 David Wright, a couple gold relievers and a Trevor Story, and to top it all off, the legendary Keith Hernandez! His team looks absolutely terrifying. It should also be noted that every single one of these teams is completely free-to-play, as I only own the game through Origin Access, and therefore cannot buy perfect points. It's a bit of a challenge, but I enjoy that~ |

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to gold we'll go...
I knew my team would suck at the diamond level, but I still understimated just how much we'd suck. We're 46-89 .341 which makes us 1 game better than the worst team, but there's still time to overtake them. ![]() Hopefully, we'll make more points at the gold level. But at least we made 700 PP from ending losing streaks this season and looking at our upcoming schedule, I think we have a chance for more of those "achievements".

Oh nooo, that sucks! Yeah, the good news is that being a league down is a great time to rebuild! You've got some time to save up for some real difference-makers and SLAM diamond next time!

The Hoggs aren't dead yet! A 16-11 August, plus a win on the 1st September puts us at 70-65, 1 game up in the second wildcard and only 1/2 game back in our division.
Am fully expecting a big dip in September, however, as my bullpen is still bad and it feels like (though the FIP evidence suggests otherwise) my rotation has over-performed.

In a singular performance, Mike Trout picked up another Batter of the Month in August and is giving his all to will the Raccoons into the playoffs …!

My Pedro is nearly unbeatable 14-1 2,49, bad that he dont play since day one...He dont have chance for the Cy young I think because of that.
And I lost a Maddux game by one pitch with Ellsworth...100 pitch shootout lol. |

My Diamond League's top 12 batters by WAR. You can't compete without having Trout & Betts in your lineup. That Joe Morgan is a sweet card that might be one of the best well-rounded 2B options in the game. Just not common.
