Jose Bautista homered and Hanley Ramirez has now hit in 20 straight games!

Hanley Ramirez wasted no time extended his hit streak to 21 games as he hit a solo homer as the 2nd batter of the game.

Unfortunately, that was ll the Blue Jays could muster as they fell 6-1 to the Yankees.

After 7 Oakland led 4-1. After 9 Toronto won 9-7!

Devon Travis and Darwin Barney each went 3 for 4 but it was Richard Urena's pinch hit single with the bases loaded that put the Jays ahead.

With all the went on, Hanley Ramirez went 0 for4 with a walk, ending his hit streak at 24 games.

It is unclear how the game did not involve any ejections. The Mariners won 9-0, and with that lead in the 8th inning, Mike Zunino stole 2nd base. Chad Qualls then showed his displeasure by plunking Leonys Martin. In the 9th Felix Hernandez retaliated against Kurt Suzuki.
