OOTP11 is a great game, if nothing is added I'm still a very happy customer. But if I can wish....

1. I'd love to see some new widgets, including this one...

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-like-see.html

2. Hair for Facegen. Some guys just don't look quite right bald.

3. An update to the webcast screen. I never use it now that there are widgets. Would love to see something more like mlb.com, sportsline, etc.

4.

Ratings history graph for players

Be able to view the ratings history graph for a player. For example, for each scouting report, plot the rating value on the Y axis and the scouting report date on the x-axis. It would be nice to be able to do this for each major rating.

Since your scout may have changed, it should include the report from the scout who was on your orginization at the time of the date on the graph. It would be nice to also have your current scout's report on the graph too, even if he wasn't part of the organization at the time, but this isn;t necessary if it overly complicated things.

I know a mod exists to track development, but it woul dbe nice to have an official feature. I'm not sure if the mod works for OOTP 11 yet.

1. Add the ability to recognize and use mp3s and/or ogg format in addition to the wav format for sound files. I recently did a mod for all player intros on the 2010 mlb roster...the resulting file size was over 500 MB. If the game recognized Pitchers, it would have been over a Gig. I could have cut it to 40 megs and most likely less if the game allowed the use of the mp3/ogg format.
2. Add recognition for Pitchers
3. Add recognition for player home and away variations. Examples: Player name_home, Player name away, this would allow the different variations you get at the home/away ballparks for player intros. Even better if you could use player name1_away, player name2_away player name1_home, etc. This would cover the fact that some players use different walkup music for each at bat..
4. Add ability for rally sounds to be team specific. Examples: rally1_team name, rally2_team name, etc.
Thanks

Hall of Fame monitor and standards scores

I consider this a relatively small addition since we aren't adding any stats...it's just a computation of what already exists. So...hopefully that can be added into the game.

I've had quite a few times where a starter is basically sailing along, then bam, bam, bam, falls apart. If this is in a mid-inning before you have any up in the bullpen, by the time they get warmed up (3-4 batters), it's too late to control damage.

If there were a feature to buy some time and get a reliever in within a couple batters, it would make the game that much more realistic, IMO.
I do think that the visit mound button gives your pitchers time to warm up. I believe I have had a status of warming up, visited the mound and my pitcher was ready.

Pretty simple fix, IMO:

When using 7-day lineups, I would like to be able to always see the next 7 days. Currently, if your season starts on 4/1, for example, you can see through 4/7 to start, but on 4/6 you can only still see 4/6 and 4/7, as well as the 5 days previous. In my opinion this isn't a good use of space. Have the lineups recenter so the first day is the current day (or day before the current day) so you always have eyes on the whole week.

I'm new to using 7-day lineups, so I may be missing the ability to do this currently.

*Edit - Amazing, amazing game, btw. Proud to say I've sold 3 friends on the game, all of whom have been 1st-timer buyers this year

Historical Simulation Accurracy

Historical Simulation Accurracy

1. Column headers need to stay at the top when scrolling.
2. Prefer most recent year at the top.

Also, I really like playing historical leagues where a players debut season is randomized. It would be great to have a check box to allow random debut play.

Would make it a lot easier to manually induct players after 5 years of retirement.
I was going to suggest something similar. I like to manually induct players into the Hall of Fame as well. It would be nice to have a way to filter out the players already in the Hall. Maybe a Year Inducted in Hall column. Also, it would be nice to have a years retired and number of seasons played that could be filtered as well to come up with a list of eligible players.

When looking at the retired players it would also be nice to have a third option in addition to Open Report and Write Report to Disk that would write all the pages to disk, so you could easily get these into excel.

I will pay extra

for a REAL record book. I know its not a priority to everyone else but baseball to me is about stats and wins and loses, not news stories. All of these records and stats are generated in the game, so why can't we retrieve them easily?
Like I said I WILL PAY EXTRA!

I'd love to have the ability to save a set of view options - so for example I could click one drop down option to have the roster screen show Batting Stats 1, Batters Only, Versus Right.

I'd also like the customized view I setup in the waiver screen to be available on the free agent screen - it's annoying to have to set it up twice.

The position button in the Free Agent screen is still bugged and it still vanishes and reappears randomly when the screen is in use. Please fix this.

And also in the inaugural draft (maybe other drafts too?).

Please add support for sub-folders allowing me to sort things out. My logos, jerseys, and ballcaps folders are a mess

As mentioned in posts 13, 18 & 37 of this thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-released.html,there are still some problems with the MLB quickstart that need to be addressed.

Correct rating coloring for different scales

The way it colors the ratings now gives away too much information when using scales of less precision than 1-100. For example, I am using the 20-80 scaling. Sometimes a 45 rating is orange and sometimes it is yellow. I know the guy with a yellow 45 is better than a guy with an orange 45. I should not know that. Both 45s should be the same color.

I believe this problem also exists with other rating scales.
