I am getting eager the more you talk about the release!!! So you re-rating single a players and real coaches? What else are you going to be doing for the final release? If you need anything - I'd be glad to help out. Even if it was just modifying all the ballparks information or teams uniforms and logos.

Theirs a a better way to do it just move them to their new teams and maybe make it available for everybody to try.

Stadiums

Maybe it's already been discussed, ... but any way to include the new stadiums for 2009? Yankees & Citifield?

a few questions.. new to the game.

i want to try and start my franchise on 11/01/2008. just wondering if that was possible.

are these rosters playable as is, or should i wait for the second version? any time table on when they will be done?

the save file as it is starts on 1/1/09. the reason for that (as I understand it) is to make sure the stats from 2008 are included correctly.

the rosters are playable now, but they aren't 100% polished. the only egregious mistake I found is Evan Longoria's fielding ratings - I would start the league as commish and multiply all his fielding ratings by 10. (it was just a typo CubbyFan made).

Put the downloaded saved game folder here:

My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9\saved_games

Then just load it up like you would a normal saved game.

When I load this game up as a saved game, it starts me on January 1st, 2009. Is there any way to start it before that, so that I can participate in Free Agency and the Winter Meetings?

Also, I notice a bunch of players like Hu and Saltamachia on waivers, why is this?

Hey Cubby, why are there so many clones of players? There is 5 each of almost every single retired player.

owners

i just have one more question. i have signed lowe, man ram, beimel, krod, all to pretty big deals and needless to say i ran out of cap room after manny. but after all the signings the owners are still letting me go after sabathia. im not going to go after him, i just think its a bit ridiculous the owners let me go so far over the budget. just wondering if there was a setting that was turned off with the new rosters. or are the owners letting me go all out this season.

You are allowed to spend the amount of cash on hand above the owners budget. So if you had $40 million in cash, the owner would allow you to be $40 million over budget that season. If you don't like to be able to go that far over budget, you can set a low cash max.

Sorry, I don't know where I saw 5 at, maybe that was a different database, but in yours, there is 2 Babe Ruth, 2 Ty Cobb, and so on and so on... it's as if there are 2 complete and separate histories within the file
