Currently the Moscow Enforcers are in need of a new owner.
![]() The Enforcers were 70-92 last season, 5th place in the FIBB Euro Division. As they go into the offseason, they have $71 million available for free agents, so they could be a huge player in the offseason events. A new, shrewd owner could also bankroll some of that money and use it over the long term to augment youth (the team just drafted a bunch of Rule 5 guys). ![]() 3B Jin Jian was the clubs top offensive player, batting .300 with 33 doubles and 10 homers last season. ![]() 25 year old starting pitcher Pedro Diaz is going to be a huge part of the future for Moscow, as he was their top pitcher in 2013 (11-13, 3.66 ERA). This is a writing league. What does that mean? It means there are some minimum expectations for you to write team news and articles about the league. You can find all the details on this and more by reading our Constitution (see top post in this thread for details). I hope to see some candidates pop up soon. I'd love to have this team filled by tomorrow with an candidate eager to join one of the most active OOTP fictional leagues around.

Awesome league. I was the former Moscow owner, but decided to leave due to time constraints that would not have allowed me to contribute as much as i would like to. Great set of owners who know how to have a good time and not take things too serious. Offense needs work in Moscow for sure, especially at 2nd base and Center Field, and possibly a big-hitting DH now that Elliot is gone. Pitching is relatively set though with a bunch of young live arms in the rotation and the bullpen. I set the team back a few years early on by sacrificing a relatively good offense for youth at pitching, as the Starting pitching was among the worst in the league when i took it over. Should be able to contend here in a couple seasons with the right owner. Join now!

Hey guys- GUBA has a couple current openings.
![]() The Tigers are a veteran powerhouse loaded with sluggers. They feature the FIBB's top offense unquestionably but a pitching staff that is loaded with issues. If you're a GM who specializes in quick turnaround tweak specials, this is the team for you. ![]() The Surfers have gone through a complete tear down and are just now reaching respectability. Think you have what it takes to play with the big boys? Join up now. Each of these teams are in (arguably) the toughest divisions in their respective leagues. Join up now (see the top post of this topic for details on how to sign up). ***Please PM me when you register for our forums so that I may approve you, to avoid spam registrations.

The GUBA - large, extremely active
![]() Full League Name (Initials): Global Unified Baseball Association (GUBA) Forums (where all the action takes place): GUBA forums Homepage: GUBA Reports URL: BNN Home Page Commissioner(s): Me and mikev OOTP Version: OOTP9 required Players: fictional # of Teams: 36 Export Deadlines Days And Times: Tue, Thu, Sun 8pm Central League Time Per Sim: 10 days (3 sims per game month) First Season: 2007 Latest Season: 2015 (just completed) Description: This is a big league with an extremely active forum (even if it's a lot of "OT"). Remember the old FIBB or MBBA? Well, those 2 long-standing leagues joined together as the GUBA in May 2007. This is a WRITING league. Basically, 10 news articles per season about your team will keep you in good standing. Exporting is required. NO fly by night owners please. Our community also organizes to play xbox live, Diplomacy, Goal Line Blitz, Court Rivals, etc. - all of these are just bonuses. ![]() If interested...: Register for the forum and join our crazy fun.

One team filled, one team open due to owner not meeting seasonal participation requirement. We are still looking for a pair of GMs who are looking to get into a long term league.
![]() Warsaw Falcons (77-85, 5th place FIBB Euro) After 69, 71, and 81 win seasons and looking like they were on the right track to being competitive, Warsaw faltered a bit last season and went 77-85. The Falcons have about $25M in salary coming off the books and could be a major player in free agency if desired. Like Taipei, they're a squad who could be tweaked into contention with a couple shrewd moves. ![]() Taipei Tigers (92-70, 3rd place FIBB Far East Division) The Tigers are a veteran powerhouse loaded with sluggers. They feature the FIBB's top offense unquestionably but a pitching staff that is loaded with issues. If you're a GM who specializes in quick turnaround tweak specials, this is the team for you.

Hey Mikey, i used to be the Moscow owner, til i resigned before the conversion. Would be interested in either franchise that is available, but wouldn't mind getting back into the FIBB Euro. Should still be signed up as usualsuspect.

Can you still access the forums, usual?
An update on our openings. They are now the above mentioned Taipei Tigers and the currently rebuilding Pago Pago Coconuts. Warsaw is no longer available.

This league is great.
I left because they were all too nice and it hurts after a while. Go Warsaw. |
