Matsui, ugh, and they are winning, the simulator can never totally recreate a man's total lack of ambition like Kaz.

Pretty close race between Matsui and Rey Ordonez as the most overrated Met.

Tough Luck or Bad Pitching

Whats going on with Carl Pavano? He is 1 and 7, but the games he pitched seem like they could of gone is way. Is just falling into that lack of Yankee run support or is does he just stink?

I was sad to see you trade away Melky, but I guess it needed to be done. How does Giambi like his new home?

Can you please fire Susan Waldman from your 880 broadcast team? I hurts me to listen to the Yankee games on the radio... Thank you!

A-Rod has to get back on track...

The games Pavano has pitched in could have gone his way. He is 1-7 but carries the lowest ERA on the team at 3.48. He could have a much better W-L but for some reason just comes up on the short end of the stick.

Trading Melky hurt me. He is gonna be an AS in a few years. He made his ML debut with the Pirates. In 13 games he is hitting .385 1HR 5RBI and 5SB's.

Giambi only has 1HR and 3RBI as a Pirate. His season total is .220 6HR and 14RBI.

Although dealing a few spects hurt my minors, ridding my payroll of Giambi(who was signed for 3 more years!!) helps my team out alot and takes us another step toward having a low payroll.

Nothing I can do about Susy Q, sorry

Yankees 8
Rangers 0

W. S. Chacon(4-2)
L. R. Dickey(3-3)

After taking 2 of the first 3 from the Rangers, I knew this would be a big game and boy did Chacon step up in a big way. He threw a complete game shutout! Cairo and Bay each drove in 2.

PoG: Shawn Chacon(CG 5H 0R 9K)

Our next series is a subway series. We head out to face the Mets on the road. This is going to be a huge series for us.

What's your record now ... the back pages of the NY papers aren't being very friendly right now, eh?

Trade 'em all and start over!

My record is 21-22 while the Mets are 27-17 and in first place. The back pages are probally calling for my firing.

At least Sheff has cooled off for Houston. He is hitting only .271 8HR and 31RBIs.

We pull off another close one against the Sox. Jeter, Posada, A-rod and Bay all went deep for us.

Yankees 10
Red Sox 6

W. K. Farnsworth(1-2)
L. K. Foulke(2-2)

It was tied up 3-3 in the top of the ninth. Our offense just busted out scoring 7 runs. Pavano was on the way to the win as he gave up just 2 runs, but after putting in Trever Miller to face Ortiz(he struck him out, which was the third time this season Miller K'ed him) I pulled Miller and put in Farnsworth to face Manny who promptly crushed one.

PoG: Carl Pavano(6.2 8H 2ER 6K)
