Or are you scouting a nation with an existing league? |

If you cancel a league creation, could it go back to the main screen? I know you can just click on "game" but it's just strange to go to a database details screen for a league you didn't create.

Which scouting report is more reliable, that of SISA or that of my Chief Scout, I ask this because I am doing the first draft and almost every report by my Chief Scout gives lower ratings to that of the SISA report.

From the quickstart screen, when you load a template, there is a 20-character limit on the league name you enter. As far as I can tell, that limit is not there when you start a league the long way. I tried to enter something as simple as "World Baseball League" but it was too long. "Major League Baseball" is 21 characters, so that couldn't even be used. Can this be lengthened? Is there a reason for the limit?

Service Time
Is there a way to zero out the service time of the whole league to start from scratch?

Frankly, I am stunned at the depth of the game, stats, etc.
It's gonna take a week to figure everything out, but I am not complaining. A small suggestion, not a biggie...maybe for next year...It would be extremely helpful if we could sort each column in the "Explore World" section instead of alphabetical listing of nations only. And to sort cities (or states) alphabetically when viewing each country instead of by population.

I just wanna know....
I guess I am the GM, and I am now 1-0 in the new season.
How do I get INTO a game to manage??? I seeoptions for auto-playing until (whenever), but not one to actually get into a game? Help?

Going to post my first thoughts of the game without reading any of this thread.
So, no outside influence just my own first impressions. All I've done so far is to create my universe including importing my 6.5 dynasty into the game and then just look around. I'm still on Jan 1 so haven't even advanced a day yet. The depth of just setting up is incredible, chances of me going back and redoing what I've done once I know what is going on about 65\35 that I do. Don't pay much attention to minor league ball so didn't know what kind of playoff formats they use. Set my A, AA, AAA to 3-3-5 series (works for me) and my rookie and short season to 1-1-1. Thougth about turning them off in the lowest levels but not sure if I can. Exploring my Cubs and other teams throughout the league.. Looked at a few players and the importing of player abilities looks very good. Can't say I noticed any differences with my players. My mlb roster was intact and 40 man was as it was in 6.5. Career MLB stats also on each card, no minors as we knew and don't think postseason either. I can more than live with this as I'll at least be starting with a roster set of names I know. Plus it took me 11 seasons of playing out every game to get to this point. I had the game fill the minors and only took a quick look at my affiliates. All my minor leaguers came in and without a detailed search I believe they are at the same levels as 6.5. Haven't moved my real logos yet but my ML game created ones look very nice, perhaps because of the import? The couple of minor league logos I looked at were more of the pastel colors of the screenshots. At least for my affiliates I'll replace them with the real ones and will replace all the ML ones, not because they look bad, but for realism. Any transparencies I have seen so far have not been distracting with the default skin. But I haven't been to any in-game screens yet. I like the windowed mode, very nice. Have to go to work soon so won't get to play until late tonight and into tommorow (have the day off ) so should have a good go at it then.Game looks great, depth very impressive. If in game is half as good as the first impression, and I think it will be, this game is going to rock. |

Very nice game so far.... but kinda slow, makes me want to upgrade my computer...
great... just what I need... another things making me want to upgrade! ![]() The only thing I don't like so far is sortable stats... there's an option to bring it up in report form, but it only brings up the "page" you're looking at instead of all the "pages" there are so you can scroll through it. Also, is there a spot to report text errors? In one news article I saw it had an extra word jumbling it up, like it started to say one thing and changed to the other. Or should I ignore those? |

Can I just say, while I have your attention for a split second --- the inSANE depth of this game will take many hours to get a handle on, but it's like moving from a tricycle (one I loved, don't get me wrong!) to a Porsche. Tell my family I love them and will see them in a few weeks! Folderol!
