I'm actually a little confused with some of what you have down for your player. To make things easier, check back to the first two posts in this thread, and then once you have a feel for the points, please use the batter template:

Code:
First Name: John
Last Name: Smith
Birthdate: 6/22/1882
Nickname: Mr. Everywhere
Height: 6'2
Weight: 215
Number: 4
Bats: Right
Throws: Right
Birthplace: Stockton, NJ
1st Position: 1B-Range: 15 (30)
2nd Position: None
3rd Position: None
Arm (IF/OF/C): 10/1/0 (11)
Specialty Talent: Contact
2nd Specialty: Eye
Contact: 100 (100)
Gap: 65 (65)
Power: 45 (45)
Eye: 85 (85)
Avoid K's 70 (70)
Speed: 7 (14)
Stealing: 4 (8)
Running: 10 (20)
Hitter Type: Normal
Sac Bunt: 4 (4)
Bunt For Hit: 1 (1)
Injury: Durable (35)
Character:
Loyalty: Normal
Need Winner: No
Leader: Great (4)
Clutch: Great (6)
Consistency: Average (2)
Debut Year: 1901
Just replace the data that's in there with your batter's data where it should go, and make sure the points match up with how you want them. You've got the basic idea, it just needs some fine tuning and you'll be good to go.

Yes, much better, thanks. All the points add up, and he's all set and waiting for 1929.

Juan Carrillo has been placed into the 1919 draft pool, and Dieter Kahle has retired. So ends the career of the first player entered into my dynasty. He never won the World Series, but he was still a good player.

Gabriel Valiente has been entered into the 1920 draft pool. Also, Clive Woodstock retired in the offseason. I've decided that this is going to be the way I announce the retirements of every player that is entered in, and if they really made an impact, of course they'll get mentioned in the main thread.

James "Cool Papa" Bell has been entered into the 1921 draft pool. No created players retired this year, which surprised me, but I guess Don Ayers still has something to prove.

Hey everyone, just to let you know we're halfway through the 1921 season, and we're starting to come up again on some open spots for your created players. The spots are filled up until 1930, and then you have open spots in 1932, 1934, and then a large group of open spots from 1937-1943, and then 1945 is open too. So, if you haven't gotten in yet, or want to enter another player (or two) those are the open years all the way up until the end of WWII. In other words, come on in and sign up!

I saw that someone had signed up Japanese players earlier in the thread, so I decided to add my favorite pitcher, Victor Starffin, a Russian whose family had fled to Japan when he was a child. He actually was on a national exhibition team that visited the U.S. in 1934, so I thought to myself, "What if he had defected during that trip?" Perhaps he could start an influx of players from the Japanese Leagues.

Weight: 222

Both players check out and are now just waiting for their years. I don't know much at all about the Japanese Leagues, but if people want to add in some players from across the Pacific, by all means, go for it. Of course, during WWII if they're playing I'll have to see what, if anything, I decide to do with them, but that time will come soon enough.

Is it alright if I reserve a spot for 1930 right now? My internet at college is about to be shut off becuase I used it too much, and don't want to lose a spot. Tell me if you don't want me doing this, though.

I'll hold it for you for now, considering there's still some time before I get to 1930, but if we get to 1929 and nothing's been entered yet, I may have to put it back up for grabs.

I could see that happening with Sawamura. Not sure about Starffin, though. He might even be considered a hero if he "defected"

That's where I was leaning with it. I would think that people would see Starffin as a hero, considering his story, but if some more Japanese players get entered in before 1941, then there could certainly be some issues.

This is Mike Feldbush's son if you wanted to know, if you want to incorporate it into the story.

Lewis, you actually still have another 100 points to work with for Herman. As for being Michael's son, I'll definately put that in too.

There we go, should be fixed now. Don't know how I missed the 100 points. I guess college does that to you.
