I love the team pages. Do you did an excellent job creating/modifying.
Let me be the first to ask you to "borrow" the design for my league All joking aside I love the format and would be interested in using it with your permission.

thanks - i borrowed the design from the cbl with their permission and added some items. i have no problem with you borrowing them from me - don't think cbl would mind either but you may want to ask them - perhaps if someone from cbl is reading this thread they can reply

Sorry, but with such a belated response, that's the best I'm going to do.

"One thing that bothered me about other sites out there was that when you clicked on a link to a game generated page (ie standings page), the standings page opened and you were now off the league site - you had to hit your back button to get back to the league site. i used an inline frame to take care of that - now you can view all aspects of the league and stay directly on the league site. I've gone through every site listed in this thread and i'm pretty sure only one or two do this.
it's obviously a matter of taste but it seems to be more user friendly" more like user unfriendly. ****** can not be viewed by users of Mozilla, Netscape, and Opera browsers. i've experienced that it's best to set your page to W3 html 3.2 standards, so that all to most people that come to the site can view the site (i even plan on creating a text only design for those using a telnet servers' lynx browser on public or business computers to bypass restrictions placed on them.) although i can't use this practice as much as i want to with http://www.sbl.ootp-leagues.com/ because i need to meet owners' and commissioner's needs. i see no problems with it between Opera and IE, but with Netscape 4.7 there's a few alignment problems that i plan on working on after 2 weeks of being absent. oh well.

you should make the ****** on one of your non-generated pages. but i'd advise against it, because users with any browser that's not IE can not view the page. you can do the same thing basically by setting up your site with standard frames. or using dynamic html to link to different files.

On our companies web site, only 3% of our customers are using Netscape. 95% are using IE. (Our customers are IT, nurses, and doctors from hospitals across the county and in Canada and England... with a couple of other countries).

i like it (udbl). especially the color scheme.
the flash buttons could have been done with rollover gifs/png's to save system resources on your viewers.

sorry. didnt know that about the latest netscape. i tuned off from them after the disappointing 6.0 release.
stacy, some of those may be using browsers or utilities that allow them to change their referrer client infomation to allow them to view blocked sites. the stats i've seen have Netscape commanding 10-35% of the market, and that non-IE browsers make up between 20-40%. also, that more than 50% have 800x600 resolutions. but most of the stats site cant tell you accurate numbers.

In my travels to hospitals, it never ceases to amaze me how many are using IE with a 480 x 640 resolution. Tech people like the ones in IT have newer equipment and are using higher resolutions, but many of the PCs outside of IT and even many within are older and a surprising number of them are still running Windows 95.

www.852bl.ootp-leagues.com
we use inline framing. everything(except ncaa league site, forum and links to outside stuff) opens up in the middle.
