In a shocking twist, Zeb Morse left his brother Jethro in Glasco to sign with the Marston Nine for $11,200,000 a year through 1889. He may have gotten more money, but he'll miss out on a chance for a 2nd Pro Cup title as the Nine finished in 4th place at 83-79, 10 games out of first place.

Very well, I did say that I wanted Zebulon and Jethro Paul to play at least one year with each other before they might potentially end up on different teams than each other. ANd that was the case here, of course. So I'm not too upset about that, in truth. Surprised, certainly, but not upset. Maybe they'll still be able to play together again later, but we'll have to see. Here's hoping Zeb eventually finishes with Glasco, much like Pujols is going to do with the Cardinals this season, and is doing. But that's not something I can control here, you know.
In any case, I would expect his number to be ultimately retired by Glasco at the eventual conclusion of his career, for sure, after having spent at least a decade with them in it, if not more, by the end of it. Don't you agree, jg2977? Denton City really seems to have taken a rather unexpected tumble in 1885. I wonder why, of course. Hopefully they'll get things right by the end of Freeman's career, though, you know. CD out.

If Hillsboro can somehow get past South Fork, then maybe they will have at least a halfway decent chance at playoff success before Walton retires. I'm hoping they do, even if it means that Denton City and Hillsboro ultimately meet in the playoffs at some point here, of course, at least once, if not more than once.
Barrett Parverol can't come soon enough for Sugar Valley, it seems. They're really bad, just like Kenwood was for a good while prior to Tanner Garber's arrival. I don't know how much of an impact Simon Clairborne will have for and on Turon, upon his arrival, but hopefully, he'll have at least a significant impact, for Turon could certainly use another pitcher, which Simon will strictly be proposed as. Of course, now that Zeb Morse is on Marston, even though I haven't likely made any items for them that you've used or will use for them, as of yet, I'll probably want to periodically keep track of his current team as well. Seeing as he's now on Marston, then, that means that I'd periodically like to see reports on Denton City, Glasco, Hillsboro, South Fork, Sugar Valley, and Turon, to go along with periodical reports on Marston, if possible, until Zebulon either changes teams again or retires. As with Pujols, I was hoping all my proposed players would remain with their original teams their entire careers. But now that won't be possible for this generation, at least, of course. We'll just have to see if anyone else moves from their original teams before they retire as well. But here's hoping they don't, and that those on the Freeman's side of things don't ultimately wind up on the teams for their current rivals, either, for sure. CD out.

Denton City's offense is above average, but look at the pitchers' ERAs. Those are scary bad. They have the worst pitching and defense in the Tycobbian Union.

Looks like Garber may be a real force for a while here, for Kenwood. But let's see if we can't improve the chances for other teams in the division to compete, at least, or in the other divisions of your IPA, and not just Denton City and the other teams my players currently compete on in your IPA, of course.
Especially the historically-bad teams in it, if possible, for sure. There certainly are at least a few of those teams around here so far in your IPA's current version, you know. While certainly there should be teams that can potentially become dynasties, at times, we should also look to create rivalries between various teams, I think. Just a few of my thoughts here, that's all. Ultimately, however, this dynasty, in particular, is YOURS, and YOURS ALONE, to run and do as YOU might periodically see fit here, in any case. CD out.

Denton City needs major help on defense as well. Let's see if we can't get them at least a few much better defensive players before Henry's done for his career. If they get those players, the pitching statistics will definitely improve, you know, for sure, jg2977. That's probably their main weakness here, causing their pitching to be so bad, I think. CD out.

Tanner Garber's school should be the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. Just so you know, jg2977. I'll look up its ID and post it in my thread, once found. CD out.
