I don't live in Belle Plaine, but I know about it at least a little. You sure you didn't keep paper records of your notes related to the IPA as you began to plan it out and all, which you could perhaps look at again, or something? Just wondering, that's all.

I'm about to start work on chapter ten of my latest story, but I'm still trying to figure out what kinds of news or mysterious events several of my characters might learn about or experience in my story's next chapter. I think I'll start work on chapter ten by the end of the weekend, if at all possible, somehow.

As for writing about the various teams with human managers for my Galactic Baseball Alliance thread, I think the Missouri Show-Mes might be one of the more interesting teams to write about, once I am able to start advancing the calendar again. I'm currently in the process of introducing the main personnel for the Show-Mes major league staff, and I think Dustin Comfort may be one of the most interesting characters to write for here, especially when he associates with Ruiz and others on the major league staff.

I'm not sure how I'm going to portray that dynasty's version of my paternal grandfather, just yet, especially because I don't know all that much about the real-world man from our own world, in truth. But hopefully, I'll still be able to portray him adequately well, at least, somehow, even with certain differences between our real world's history and the history of that dynasty's world.

Once I get done with the Show-Mes, in terms of introducing them as needed, the New Orleans Bayous will be next. Hopefully I will be able to come up with sufficiently suitable profiles for the relevant people and all, once they are up for introduction here. Feel free to comment more about the area in and around New Orleans, if and when you like, once the New Orleans Bayous organization is in the process of being introduced.

I aim to introduce enough of the important people from all the appropriate teams, as best as I can, yet as briefly as I can, before ultimately advancing the calendar ahead as appropriate. This is so that it might hopefully be much easier for everyone to pick certain teams to follow in the future, as the thread develops, of course. Just like many do with your IPA, for example. no doubt.

I have been thinking of you a good deal of late, and praying for you and others, as always, of course, among other things I'm also doing at the present time. But eventually, all this will pass from this world, one way or another, and death will eventually be no more for eternity. And once it is, many of us will hopefully be with Him who made us for all eternity, of course. Never to die again, et cetera.

Thank you for your time and attention and all, EC. And your prayers for me and my family, et cetera. My parents are getting older, of course, as we all are. Seeing as they're both in their seventies, however, things are getting a bit more difficult at times in certain ways, for sure. Their ages seem to be catching up with them both a bit more of late, and they both have had certain health issues and all, as well, due to their advanced ages, whatever those issues may be, or certain happenings in their pasts. Fortunately, God has seen fit to allow them to remain here for at least a bit longer, of course. Thank God for that, for sure.

Ideas are coming to mind more and more for my latest story. Hopefully I'll be able to use many of them as I continue to write my story. And people in my Galactic Baseball Alliance thread will most likely appear in it, and vice versa, I think. Chapter ten is not yet done, but still hoping it can be done well enough by the end of this month, of course. Don't expect me to make any major new requests, if any at all, publicly until I finally finish the first draft of chapter ten, at least. That probably won't happen until close to the end of this month, if not longer than that, just so you all know this.

When you start playing games and reporting on them, I will look at your dynasty leagues... team personnel histories do not interest me... sorry, I just like to follow team records, league standings, individual stats and such.

I just like general coverage of leagues that have good graphics and are traditional in nature... and well-presented on the Dynasty Forum.

Like the Metro League by DreamsTeams, Braeland League by reds1 and Australian dynasty by Izz.

I think you'll like at least a few of the people with the Bayous organization, EC. Am almost done with introducing their organization. The Texas Border Patrol franchise based out of El Paso will be next to be covered, and then we'll finally be out of the first part of the ABRS to cover for the relevant dynasty, once they're done.

It may be a while before I can start resuming the advancing of the relevant calendar for the dynasty, because I'm trying to work very hard on my story, whenever I can and all. I don't expect to be done with the ABRS teams until at least the end of September, but we'll have to see how quickly I can write my story, whenever possible and all. I'm shooting for chapter twelve to be done by the end of October, if possible, though.

We are staying fairly safe here, even with all that's going on, at least for the most part, but it's rather crazy out in the real world with certain nasty things being done to innocents, among others, unfortunately, at times. However, it is an exceedingly great thing to be safely under the sheltering wings of the Almighty, in good times and in bad, for sure, in my view, and probably in the view of many others who love God in this world, EC.

I don't have any logos created yet, either by me or others around here, for many of my fictional teams or leagues, but I at least do have caps and uniforms made for many of them, even if I made them myself, of course, in any case. Hopefully one day, I'll have legitimately-gathered and legitimately-created logos for them somehow, one way or another, though.

Hope you and yours are all well, and all, of course, EC. I'd really like to include any number of Japanese and/or Negro League players who never actually played in Major League Baseball in my games, but I don't necessarily know their required codes so that I could import them as needed into said games. Do you? Just wondering, that's all. Thank you for your time and all. And, by the way, any progress on the Blue Sox-related people from Duane Decker's series of books yet, for instance, that I'm hoping to have available to me eventualy, as well? CD out.

When you get your league ready to go I will try to help you place the Blue Sox players on your teams and give you ratings to put in the player editor.

As far as Japanese and Negro players... you need their id code... both of them are different codes... I looked up codes for each group, but I could not import them into OOTP.

I will see if I can find out how to import the Japanese and Negro players on the OOTP21 Discussions Forum... they may help me out and tell me how to do it.

Will let you know if I find out how to do it.

I was planning to import them eventually, once I started up the appropriate league in the GBA-related dynasty, or added them in at least one of my other current or past dynasties in any of the versions of OOTP I currently have (18, 19, and/or 20), to be honest. The process of introducing the Bayous is sufficiently complete for now, and I am about to start introducing the main personnel for the Border Patrol organization in the relevant thread.

I tried to come up with some good backstories for those major league personnel with the Bayous to start with here in the appropriate thread, and hopefully they'll play off well against each other, somehow. But time will tell if I can cover them adequately in much the same manner as those currently involved with legendsports's Figment Universe, for example, have been doing, of course. Should be interesting to see what you think of those with the Bayous once the calendar starts to advance again.

As of the current time, this next season will be the second one of the dynasty, but the first with the European baseball leagues in it. The Japanese Baseball League will eventually become Nippon Pro Baseball, in truth. Other leagues haven't yet been decided on, at least to a degree, except that certain leagues will likely start around fifty to eighty years later than when they usually start for me, either as historical teams or fictional ones.

I'm going to start MLB in 1950, along with a few other leagues, and then for the 1950 draft, I am going to import a bunch of real players into the appropriate amateur draft for it. Same thing with the JBL/***, so that the real players begin playing in the 1951 season, if at all possible. That is still more than three seasons from now, though. But still something to prepare for, in any case, for sure.

It's still February 1947, and I'm also not sure just when I should change financial or strategy settings to those of different years after each season. I have a plan for that sort of thing, or those sorts of things, but I don't know when the best times to make those changes are before the next seasons begin for leagues. Do you think you could ask for me, please?

So far, I have not been able to do it... the import always fails.

Making progress on my story's tenth chapter. It's slow at times, for sure, but still making some progress with it every so often. Hope I can finish the chapter by the end of the month, at least in first-draft state, but it might be close for me, I think.

Meanwhile, I see you're about to reach the 28k posts plateau, EC. Do you think you'll live long enough to hit at least 30k in terms of posts here? Just curious, that's all. You've got CONN CHRIS behind you by about 200 posts, it seems, so do you think you'll beat him to 29k or he you?

Never really pay any attention to how many posts I make... I just keep track of the viewers for my two dynasty leagues... I like to see how many people pay attention to it... lately the viewership has been down.

Regardless of the number of posts and views, I do the dynasty league reports because I get personal enjoyment out of them.

CD, just read the season recaps for each IPA division... that will give you some idea of the best and worst franchises in the IPA.
Look at each team's home page... there is a team history and the team's overall won-lot record.
