from 6th Place to first thanks to a 21-8 run. pitchers Chris Short (8-1) and Turk Farrell (8-3) have shined. The Twins are still floundering near the bottom of the American League, but
have seen some life out of the team, 16-14 in June. Stay tuned for more ball.

We are on the other side of the halfway mark of the season. In the American League, Cleveland and Washington are still going at it. Over in the National League the Pittsburgh team
seams to be fading away with a 9 game losing streak. Expansion team New York Mets are not any better with 10 games lost in a row. The Cardinals are looking for more blood to
expand their lead over the Cubs and Giants. Cleveland's Hank Aaron is tearing up the American League with his .374 BA.
