Official Rolen/Cubby Roster Thread - Page 59

Went through all the players on active rosters and all the minor league teams names and this is it...

-Connecticut is misspelled for the Eastern League Giants affiliate
-Corpus Christi is misspelled for the Texas League Houston affiliate
-Cyclones is misspelled in the New York Penn League Mets affiliate
-The Provo Angels of the Pioneer rookie league are now the Orem Owlz
-Misspelled Jonathan Papelbon, have an ‘o’ instead of an ‘a’ at the end of his first name

This is a great set,I already went through and fixed all the colors so this is really a very solid roster set. THANKS!

I don't know if this has been mentioned (it probably has), but when playing a game none of the names of the players on the field show up. This is a known problem and is there a quick fix to this?

cubby n erich maybe u should put a read me file on how to extract and use the roster set. Right now I can't seem to figure it out. Thank you

Just unzip it to "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2006\data\saved_games"

so where are Josh Hamilton, Evan Longoria, Wade Townsend or Jeff Neimann?

furthermore, how come you haven't reflected the Aubrey Huff trade?

I mean, old news right?

As a suffering Devil Ray fan and Cubs fan, it is nice that I can live in this fantasy world where the Devil Rays can play .500 ball and Prior/Wood are healthy. Thank you!

This happens to me too. Any ideas why? Thanks for the hard work!

The rosters are as of Opening Day. Evan Longoria will be in the draft pool EVENTUALLY. Hamilton wasn't on the roster on opening day i don't think. ANd I dont know about Townsend or Neimann.

Same goes for Huff, hes on the Devil Rays opening day.

HoustonGM, I was joking about Longoria et al. I would much rather see names/pictures show up than worry about that, but I was attempting to show humor. As a Cub/Devil Ray fan, without humor, I would be suicidal!

Ok...unzipped into saved games and saved as a quickstart.....all seems to be working well.....now, just wondering.....can i change Bud Selig's name to my own....put in my own birthdate & stuff like that???
Also, when i look for available jobs....all the major league teams are only offering GM positions.....I would like to apply as a manager....one of the fun things about ootp is getting fired & moving to another organization.
And finally, I am a big Mets fan, so this might sound biased, but i thin Carlos Beltran's power rating should be a little higher than 56....my scout has him rated lower than Julio Franco, Victor Diaz and Ramon Castro a backup catcher.....i know he only hit 16 last year.....but he had that quad injury all year long.....anyway, just thought i'd mention it, but no biggie....my only real question was how to get a job as a manger and not as gm....but otherwise, great job with this roster set!!!!

For some reason Filefront never works for me and it is not yet again

It just sits there and says to wait for the download server to be contacted.

Are there any plans to post this file on another site??

Has anyone tried to export and import via FTP using this roster set? I'm trying to and every time I import the file I just exported with the Twins, I get 5 guys on my active roster and it releases everyone else. Any ideas?

Click on create new General Manager and enter your info. Now delete old Bud and you're good to go!

Not sure if its just me or not but the entire import/export system is shot with this file. No import will work.

I'm not sure that is the file or the game. Because a lot of people have been having import/export issues since the 1.02 came out.
