One of my favourite fighters. Heavyweight Earl Walls of Toronto. 6' 2 1/2" 210 pounds. Loaded with talent. Smooth intelligent boxer, terrific puncher. Made a big splash with a savage 90-second KO of top contender Rex Layne. Later in his career he dropped a controversial decision to Tommy Harrison. In the rematch, he was cold fury and put Harrison away in the first round. Probably headed for a title shot, but lost interest and retired to become a successful real estate agent in the late 50s boom.
