CD, there is a way to download knuckler's IPA teams that have the Photo.
You right click on the jersey and save it in a new tab... right click on the image and "save image as a new tab"... when you see the new tab at the top of the screen, then you click on it and the image of the jersey shows up without the writing Photobucket on it. Then you can download it. Go to this thread where all of my IPA teams were created: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=249827 Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-21-2021 at 10:16 PM. |

Seems I used Shading 1 on both the white and gray uniforms, at least, with percentages of 40% Light and 80% Dark, and a 60 percent Baggy shadow, on those items, along with using no textures on them. I would suspect that the same percentages may also be in use on the black and tan alternate uniforms for them as well, but I'd have to check them both to be entirely sure about that here, it seems.
Caps share the same percentages for shading, and they also have no textures present for them, either. Just so you know. I suppose I could change the current percentages of shading and shadowing used on each of the relevant items, if it might make them look much more like you'd perhaps want items for them to normally look. If so, please do let me know, if you might so choose and all. Thank you. CD out.

In justafan's Jersey Creator select the following settings:
Under Shadowing select "none"... don't select "baggy". Under Shading select "shading 1". Under Textures select "none". See if these setting will make you jerseys lighter in shadowing and shading. |

Tried already to grab the Tuckanarra Blue Jays items from there, at least, but couldn't, especially because it seems they apparently weren't in JPG or PNG format when I did so. It kept saying they were WEBP files, not the usable formats mentioned above. When I try to click on PB-related items, especially if the related account is no longer active, I can't save those items, it seems. And as far as I can tell, knuckler's items, for instance, are no longer downloadable, if even directly viewable at all, because the account is or accounts are inactive now that he had there once upon a time.
txranger's items can't currently be accessed on PB either, in like manner, for instance, it seems. But fortunately he's copied or moved over most, if not all, of his work to other places like his Google Drive, for sure. And he sure has a lot of wonderful work on his Google Drive now, most definitely. He is a great blessing to these forums, I think, to be completely honest with you. Just so you know this here from me. But thanks for your many attempts at helping me so many times around here, just the same, of course, EC. They are much appreciated, and haven't, and won't be forgotten, for sure. CD out.

In justafan's Ballcap Creator use these settings:
Select under Shading: Light to 25% Select under Shading: Dark to 20% Under Textures select "none"... it looks like you use either "mesh" or "knit" for your cap textures. This is how I create my caps and jerseys... knuckler did it with these settings, too. |

Sure, I'm willing to try doing things in different ways, until I find a look I might be best satisfied with, for various items. Whether they're graphics-related things or not, I often relish challenges of various kinds, to be sure. I mean, if one never challenges themselves, or is willing to be challenged and all, when necessary and appropriate enough, in life, then they'll have a very boring life, to say the least. And they'll certainly never learn and grow more in their lives, you know, either.
I'm not totally satisfied just yet with the entire Far Mountain RedHawks set, to be honest, but the colored uniforms Isedelyod made that you shared above may inspire me to try and improve what I have for them so far, I think. I'll keep trying to make what I have made already for FM better, as I can, and as the Lord leads and all. It may take a while, but I still think I can improve what I've already made for them, or come up with better items for them instead, at some later time, somehow. Will write more as time allows and all, but we'll have to see what happens. By the way, I've finally posted again in my OOTP 18 1934 Cardinals-related thread, so feel free to check it out as you like and can, and all. It should be in the Historical Simulations section, I believe. Let me see if I can post a link to it for you here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=293883 I went back to it again for a bit, trying to get my mind off certain things related to what happened earlier this week. And I'll probably post every so often in it for a while, if I'm not doing certain other things in the near future instead. Just so you know. Would like to see what you think will happen next for the Cardinals in my 1934 season, of course. That's enough to talk about in this particular post here, at least, I think. Talk more later, if and when I can and all, I'm sure. Lord willing and all, that is, you know. CD out.

I just downloaded one of knuckler's jerseys from that IPA thread where all of the teams were created.
Here it is without PhotoBucket on it. Just right click on the image.... select "save image in new tab"... you will see the new tab at the top of the screen... click on that tab and the image shows up without PhotoBucket on it. You can then download it to your computer... right click on the image and select "save image as". It does work... the image is a png file. Notice knuckler's uses lighter shadowing and shading than you do... he also use "none" as the texture. Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-21-2021 at 10:51 PM. |

Thank you, EC. I'll see what I can find that isn't on PB, for the above teams, if I don't make anything myself for them. And go from there, as needed and possible and all.
Again, thanks for keeping us all in your prayers and thoughts and all, and may our Lord heal us all as He wishes in His perfect timing and all, especially Mom, after what just happened to her earlier. I try to often think of you and pray for you and yours as I can and all, as well, for sure. CD out.

Enjoy the rest of your night, I hope, in any case, EC. I'll talk more later, when I can finally stop crying again about this whole related situation to Mom, Dad, me, and the animal in question well enough, I think. CD out.

Actually, EC, I did NOT use ANY texturing this time on any of the posted primary, if not also alternate, items for the Far Mountain RedHawks. True, I normally do use texturing on my various graphics, or much of the time, at least, but I didn't this time around, in any case.
I can certainly lessen, or not use, the various percentages I did on the Far Mountain RedHawks. That I can do to try and see how things look for them myself. If not for you, then perhaps for others, including myself, just to try something different with them, and all. As for the fonts, I may continue to experiment with them, to see if I can find any fonts that might look better than the ones I used on the posted items. I just thought that seeing as you're about to hit 2070, a look like what you saw might work better. I'll most likely continue to tinker with them, to try to get more of a look that suggests late 19th to early 20th Century times, seeing as my versions of the IPA/EBF will normally begin in 1901, at the latest, if not always. I will write more later, and all, as time permits and all, of course. Lord willing, that is, you know. CD out.

CD, you will never change my taste and style as far as jersey and cap design..
And I will never change your taste and style to mine. We have tried for the past year in this thread to change each other, but we are still stuck in our ruts... nothing has changed. You just make what you like... don't do anything for me. You will save a lot of time and so will I. But we are still friends... good friends.

Not necessarily try to change each other's basic personal natures and all, but instead to try to help each other improve our respective graphics and personal characteristics and habits where possible and all, more likely. And to try to help each other and support each other as we each can, I think, each of us trying to follow our Master's leading and all to the best of our respective abilities, EC. That's what I think we've basically tried to do here in this thread, at least, if not others as well. I could be wrong about that, of course, but that's how it appears now to me, anyway.
Personally, I don't mind trying to do nice things for you, and for others around here, when I can and all. Granted, most of my items aren't exactly your cup of tea, so to speak, but you have liked at least some of my work here, for sure. And you will like some of my future items I might ever make, later on, I think, even if I've not yet thought of them. Supposing, of course, that I am ever able to somehow make them. You never expected the Lord to help me get ideas for how to do Hillsboro Blazers items, or at least not at first, for example, for sure. And you know how all the related items turned out. Now I obviously don't know yet if I'll ever be able to do original logo designs of any kind, or make any other graphics you might actually use, but I hope that I'll actually be able to do those things here somehow in the future. Lord willing, of course, you know. I work every so often on my graphics when I seem to be having more trouble with my writing, or when I might need to get a better idea about what something looks like so I can better describe things when I am actually able to write my stories. At the present time, the chances do not look all that great to me here, unfortunately, when it comes to me being able to somehow sufficiently complete the first overall draft of Lighting Up the Darkness on or before December 1st and the final draft about six months later. If I can get past Chapter 17 easily enough, then most of the remaining chapters should hopefully be much easier to write up, I think. But first I have to get to Chapter 17, of course. Unfortunately, I'm still somewhere in Chapter 14, just barely into its second scene. And I probably still have to write at least half of the entire text for that chapter, as well. I don't want to spoil too much here, but the entire story is being written in a first-person point of view from a single narrator, seen only through his eyes. He doesn't know what others are thinking unless they tell him. And he doesn't know everything that has happened or is happening or will happen for the story and/or those things or beings around him in it, as of the current time in it. I normally don't write my stories in first-person POV, so it has been a challenge, to a degree, to stay focused and consistent with the narrator and his perspective and characterization and all. Suffice it to say, though, I still have quite a lot of the story to plan out and write as plausibly and all as I can. Plus a good deal more research likely to do as well, of course, regarding certain subjects. Like weapon types, for example. I like often learning new things and trying new things, but sometimes it can be harder to incorporate the learned information and new experiences into certain areas of my life. Like my literary interest's area of writing projects, whether newer ones or not, to name one integral area of interest for me in it. I suppose that may be at least partly, if not entirely, due to me having Asperger's Syndrome in my life. But I could be wrong about that, obviously. Thanks again for your friendship and kindness and all, in any case, EC. It is very much appreciated and all, for sure, and I don't ever plan to forget it, either, to be honest. Will write more later, as time permits and all, of course, my friend. CD out.

As for how dark I often make the shading and shadows, and perhaps texturing, on my items, I often use dates to determine the percentages of each used for my items, folks. Like certain numbers from different calendar years, or dates during such years, for example, in many cases, at that.
Say I wanted to do a uniform for a random team from somewhere in Minnesota, on the spur of a moment, perhaps. I might, for instance, use 18 percent Light and 58 percent Dark shading (Normally Shading 1 when I use shading), seeing as Minnesota became an official U.S. state in 1858, and then decide whether or not to use shadows and/or textures for the uniform in question. Of course, by then, I might have already chosen the first several colors or shades of color to use for the uniform in question that I'm currently in the process of creating, at least, prior to reaching that area of the Jersey Creator program. I probably haven't gotten to the font selection bit yet by this time in the creation process, but I'm already likely thinking of what text to put on the uniform, at least, if I haven't already decided what to put on it by then. Of course, the chosen colors and all may determine just how dark or how light I might want the current uniform design to appear by then, quite often, if not always. Will write more later, as time permits and all, and continue describing my frequent thought processes at times when I'm working on various graphics later, for anyone who may perhaps be interested here in learning how I may often proceed with the necessary creation processes related to those graphics. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, then, everyone. CD out.

Here are two items I just made, in fact, with certain shading and all, although I don't know if I'll ever actually create a team called that for any of my leagues/dynasties just yet. Please feel free to comment as you like within reason and all, folks. I'd like to know what you think of them, if possible, just so you all know this. CD out.

This is one of your best creations in my opinion... much, much better that your usual choice of colors and designs. I really like Blue and Orange colors... not sure I like the Black... I would prefer Navy Blue. Even the team name is well done. This is the type of work I would use in my leagues. The Motley Misfits is mass appeal and nicely done. I think more people would like your work, if you did creations like this on a regular basis. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but in my opinion, most of what you create would not be used by most people here on the Mods Forum. Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-23-2021 at 02:44 PM. |

In my opinion, you should have used Navy Blue instead of Black for the Black Jersey and the Black Collar.
I think the color you used is Black... try Navy Blue and see what it looks like... and be certain to make the Navy Blue light enough to look Blue. You might make the trim on the lettering a little smaller... that might improve it a little. Make the short sleeves Orange on the Black Jersey instead of White or Gray... not sure what the color is... then it would match the Orange Collar.
