Nothing has changed in the American League as The Twins are still atop. But in the National League the Cubs were dethroned for a short time. St Louis Cardinals decided to win 12 straight.

Lots of streaking going on. Cincinnati rattled off 10 straight wins before dropping two to the Cubs. The Giants have dropped 10 straight. Even Cleveland is getting in on the action with an 8 game winning streak. Ernie Banks and Frank Robinson are slatted to hit over 50 HR if they keep up their production.

What a difference a month can make. In the American League, Cleveland caught up to the Twins and overtook them and then proceeded to
lose 8 straight. The National League saw the cooling off of the Red, then they put their efforts in high gear. The following even was considered
a first in recent memory as a No Hit team actually won a game. The Twins saw one of their stars go down with a season ending injury, Duke
Snider. We are coasting to the most interesting and intense month in Baseball. Stay tuned to see who will meet in the World Series.
