We never had a chance. The NRL clubs refused to release the players we would have selected. Was seen as a experimental game by NZ management. League is stupid because of all the clubs refusing to release players.

That's the problem with not having a world season I guess...they are looking to develop it in Union as well.

Im not entirely against it...France on at their zenith right now, but Brazil may have just reached theirs as well...if this was Brazil fresh off the group stage Id be more likely to pick France.

I hate Argentina, but the last two champions came out of Group C and the Dutch were eliminated unfortunately...though Ill be rooting for Italy and considering the home team goes about two rounds farther than they should, Id see Germany in the Semis or Final easily.
