Hi there, I've made some logos for my NYC league (inspired by the style in this thread) and was wondering if you could make some uniforms to go along with them? I'll start with five. If you like making them I'll post a few more. Thanks in advance and for all the work you do here!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Unfortunately, my time to make logos is very limited, and my focus right now is on my NYC league, but I will definitely share things as I (slowly) make them!
The logos I shared in the prior post are for five of the original 12 teams of my league. I've completed two more here--the Bushwick Brewers and the East Harlem Eagles. I still have to make logos for the Morrisania Tigers, Bedford Crescents, Flatbush Atlantics, Elmhurst Athletics, and Washington Heights Hilltoppers. I selected the twelve neighborhoods based on where people were actually living in 1898 (the year the outer boroughs consolidated with Manhattan) and have plans to expand/relocate teams to reflect the growth of NYC in the 20th century. The Brewers logo is pretty straightforward with the bottlecap idea borrowed from one of TXRanger's older logos. The East Harlem logo incorporates the heraldry of Sicily to reflect the Italian immigrant population that lived there in the early 20th century. I'll share a few expansion/relocated team logos shortly in another post. |

And here are a few more logos.
The Astoria Olympics becomes a franchise in the 1960s and the logo/nickname is a nod to the Greek immigrants who started arriving in the neighborhood around then. The South Bronx Tigers are a rebrand of the Morrisania Tigers. By the mid-20th century, South Bronx became a more popular term for the area and Morrisania isn't really used as much today (though still refers to an actual, smaller neighborhood in the South Bronx). And last is the Bensonhurst Eagles. In the 1950s, Italian-Americans had started leaving East Harlem for neighborhoods like Bensonhurst so the Eagles franchise relocates around the same time. |
