Yeah,I would like to see big John make the squad,he has had a much better year than he did in the original UTBA. I had him for a bit..think Mike also had him. He didnt do as well if I remember correctly. Anyway, thanks to you guys for the stats and for giving us a little entertainment while Scot is busy. I think I may have sent my all star votes to the wrong person. If so..I am sorry. I am just not all here these days..getting old I suppose. Peace fellas.

Yeah, you did send it to the wrong person but no big deal. It seems at least one person does it everytime we do something like this plus mine and Dave's screen names are similar enough that I expected someone to mix us up. I think your right about Stracey not doing well in the first UTBA. The WW class has a few guys like that this season, Gatti and Thomas Damgaard were both pretty bad the first time.

You just may have picked up a vote from a friend, whose WW did decision Stracey! Hope he makes it. I doubt that either of my guys does, but Boots Monroe is having a comeback and someday could be a contender!

And the Binks are rounding into tip-top form to take on Bears Unstable in the seaon finale, unless there are many accidents befalling other teams. We may be offering the Bears some tasty fried chiken before the match!

Your Binks have, for the most part, been a very competitive bunch this season. I am just patiently waiting for the draft. Maybe, just maybe,I can improve enough to contend..then again I said that for about 5 seasons in UTBA I LOL. Take care Mike.

I've gotten ballots from these owners so far:

Gold Conference: 6 owners (Dave, Tommy, Bear, Bronx, Mike, and myself)

Silver Conference: 4 owners (Chris, Umk, Brooks, Claybor)

I'm going to run the match next week either Monday night or Tuesday when I get up. Those owners who haven't sent in ballots please do so since there are quite a few ties at the moment.

Small All-Star voting update, I'm planning on closing the voting on Sunday afternoon and throwing up polls to break any ties at the same time so try to get your ballots in before then.

Hey Romy - have you shot an email to Scot in recent times to see if all is well? Just curious.

Nope, I haven't. Last time he disappeared I did and never got an answer. I think if he had access or time to get on the internet he would of popped over here to let us know whats happening. I'll email him and see what happens but I don't think I'll get an answer. Didn't one of us call him last time? I want to say it was Vista but I could be horribly wrong. I think that would be the best bet on finding out if everything is alright.

Cotto and Schmeling win the last two spots on the Silver All-Star team. I'm about to start running the All-Star match. Also, can someone please post something doesn't matter if it's relevant or not cause I'm starting to feel like a bit of a jerk for having so many posts in a row.

I'm still waiting to see if Scot (SAL) returns. If not, I suggest that we take a vote to wipe out all previously posted Week 9 results and I'll temporarily take over running UTBA-II by re-running all Week 9 matches.

Keep in mind that if I do this, I will have to adjust all of my stats sheets that currently include the already posted Week 9 results. This may take a few days to complete, so we won't restart immediately.

Also, since I will be running the matches, posting results and maintaining stats, it may not run a quickly or smoothly as before. But at least the league will continue.

Please post here or PM me any feedback - good or bad

(How's that for a post, Romy????)

Sept 7th would be a month since he last visited the board ... I'd say if he doesn't post here in the next 5 days, then we should re-run week 9 and move on.

Let me preface this by saying I consider Sal one of my favorite people on the board and I know why he left for so long last time and it could be for some of the same reasons ... so this isn't meant to be a knock on him at all. We put a backup in for a reason .. time to use it.

Well Romy I didn't get home until an hour ago, and dinner got in the way, but it looks as if Mike and Dave posted before I could. Anyway thank you for taking the time to do this, and I will be pulling for the Silver Team, but judging by my record this year I hope I don't jinx them.

Thats a hell of a post and I argee with it. We need to get the UTBA back up and running and I'm sure SAL would have no problems with it. Also, when he gets back we need come up with a plan on how to handle SAL disappering midweek that doesn't involved wiping up the perivous results. Thanks to Mike and Bomber for throwing in some posts as well. I'm about half way through the match, a friend called and we spent the last couple of hours playing Call of Duty 4. Hopefully, all the next 16 fights end in first round KOs so I can get this thing up tonight.

GOLD WINS!

GOLD MVP:
George LaBlanche, for a man who only has 1 stoppage on the season he did a hell of an impression of a power puncher scoring 2 KOs and 5 knockdowns on two extremely good fighters.

SILVER MVP: Kid Chocolate, toyed with the Gold FWs easily defeating both of them.

It's pretty late over here and I'm extremely tired so it's very possible I screwed up the math on the scores so if I did I'm sorry. I'll check it out tomorrow when I wake up. Also, I'll upload the bout logs tomorrow as well.
