Houston 1b Gavin Boston & Charlotte Sp Alejandro Martinez are both suspended for 6 games.

Should be an easy series vs a sub .500 team at home with them missing their best player in 3b Derry Maine. The Scots do have a good young offense coming around with Cf Chicago Tribune, SS Leo Di Caprio, Lf Juan Valdez, 2b Andy Bradley & veteran 1b Richie Flannery. Their pitching is poor, especially the rotation.

They rank high in starters ERA but low in Hits, high in HR but low in Defense, low in bullpen ERA but 1st in BABIP. We have played well vs them this season and need to continue to do so.

Thankfully, we are still in 1st despite a very bad week and a terrible month so far. The pen can not hold a lead to save their lives this week. The Offense has been a bit stagnant.



We travel to Brandywine for 3 vs a struggling Power team and then finish the month hosting the Falcons for 3.


I already know 6 of the 7 players that will come up in September, 3 players are competing for the final spot. Only RP Tony T. Tiger will join us September 1st as Middleton is playoff team and none of their players will come up until their season is over.


Nothing positive to say about the staff this week.


Seinfeld, Tugger, Sherman, Collier & Kennett all had a good week.

The Power are struggling badly in the Central. Normally they are always competitive even if they are not the top team. Both their Offense & Pitching ranks near the bottom in the NL. Other then Rf JC killy, most of the rest of the team are among the worst ranked in the NL. They do have a excellent group of prospects led by the clone of Babe Ruth.
