![]() Hey Tx, any chance on getting a plain pinstriped hat in the same jersey colors to go along with this nice looking jersey? Would you be willing to also throw in a 150x150 sized "C" that matches the jersey script, to use as a in-game logo? Thank You my friend! |

Portland Ducks 1933
Portland Ducks 1933
Although Portland's ballclub was mostly known as the Beavers over their century-long history in the Pacific Coast League, they spent a short time sharing a nickname with Oregon's other big university, the Ducks. |

Vernon Tigers 1925
Vernon Tigers 1925
Vernon was (and still is) an industrial town surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. Why locate a professional ballclub there, you might ask? It happened that sales of alcoholic beverages were legal in Vernon, but not in LA. Happy Hogan (who had changed his last name to avoid his father finding out that he had chosen baseball as a profession) managed the Tigers from 1909 until his untimely death from pneumonia in 1915. Hogan was an early advocate of uniform numbers, a concept which did not become standardized until the early 1930s. |

![]() From the first time ever seeing it, years ago, I was always a big fan of the Ducks uniforms that had that particular duck image on it, as it is so very unique and looks good, too! Thanks Tx! Super-Great Stuff! Last edited by Bottom Of The Sixth; 11-08-2021 at 04:55 PM. |

Missoula TimberJacks 1956
Missoula TimberJacks 1956
The Timberjacks joined the Pioneer League as an independent franchise in 1956. Country singer Charley Pride, who had previously played for the Memphis Red Sox in the Negro leagues, joined the Jacks in 1960. Back the Jacks! |

Sinatra Swooners 1947
Sinatra Swooners 1947
In 1947, Frank Sinatra led a team of Hollywood celebrities including actor Anthony Quinn and songwriter Sammy Cahn in softball contests against other local teams. Ol' Blue Eyes was the Swooners' second basemen, and cheerleaders included Virginia Mayo, Shelley Winters, and Ava Gardner! Games took place at Gilmore Field, home of the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League. |
