You have about 15 of the players, I think... I sent you a post with the names of a real MLB players that were similar to the Blue Sox players that you could import from the Baseball-Reference database.

No, I don't intend to change any team names... but I do need some jerseys reworked on about 10 teams... I don't need a compete set... an away jersey for one team... a home jersey for another... maybe a home and away for another team... also may need some caps updated... some of them do not have good contrast and do not show up well on the game screens.

I still need to fix quite a few teams that could be done better, but so far, I haven't been able to get anyone to rework them... I have tried a couple of times in the last year or so without results.

For instance, I need a Far Mountain Redhawks away jersey with Far Mountain on it... no one has been able to put Far Mountain on a jersey that looked good so far.

I need Far Mountain to be in Red, trimmed in Black on a Light Gray Jersey... need a Red Cap with Black FM... I do not want any texture for the jersey... no mesh... no cotton... also like light shading.

Would like one jersey to have a script font and another jersey with a block letter font.

I'm going to try to see if I can do it.

Once I create it, I will probably post it as a personal request on the Mods Forum and see if someone will make it better for me... I know mine will just be borderline average... it will be OK and better than nothing, but not as good as the good guys can do it.

I have most of the players you gave me added already, if not all of them, for sure. There may be a couple not yet added, but those should be added soon, I expect. Especially if I continue to have some trouble progressing on my main personal writing projects like Lighting Up the Darkness, for instance.

I suspect I may have to write bits and pieces for various chapters, between now and December 1st. And then see if I can fill in the current gaps well enough for the story between what I have so far for LUtD before the final overall chapter for the story and what I may currently have written for that final overall chapter. At least as far as things may relate to my main story's first draft, anyway, that is.

Lord willing, though, I do hope to finish its first draft by December. Which should then hopefully give me about six months to try and get the overall story to its final-draft status by June 2022, roughly thirty years to the day, more or less, since my graduation from high school somewhere in Minnesota as a member of my high school's Class of 1992. It may not be easy, of course, but I've often been the kind of guy who's relished challenges in my life, it seems to me. If I can get the rest of the story finished within about another 150-200 pages, at least in first-draft state, then I think there may be a good chance of meeting my planned final-draft deadline. Especially if I can get enough relevant maps for the land or lands in question where that story takes place, and a glossary of terms, et cetera, to go along with it.

It looks like I'm going to have to restore from a backup for the specific dynasty I'm using here to make the QS with, unfortunately. At least it appears that it will be needed here, somehow, due to things possibly being messed up, as mentioned earlier. Hopefully, though, it won't be too difficult to do here, seeing as I've not yet advanced the calendar with it from January 1, 1901. Will keep you posted. That is all. CD out.

Just great, looks like many of the teams/leagues that I had present for the planned quickstart will have to be readded and all, seeing as they weren't present when I last made a backup of the dynasty in question. I still have the version of the dynasty with the potential errors, by the way. But it's going to take a while to recreate the needed leagues and teams and all, it seems, for the quickstart, working from the latest backup version I had available to me.

I suppose I can redo the work on it every so often, whenever I'm not able to write and all. But it is still rather frustrating, at times, when something seems to have messed up along the way with a dynasty you've created, whether you're making a quickstart or not, don't you think, folks?

I will keep you all posted, of course, on certain things here as needed, as possible, and as appropriate. But I am still not very happy about potentially having to redo a lot of earlier work and all, you know, folks.

Will talk at least a little more about various things here later, as possible and all, Lord willing, I'm sure, then. But perhaps I'd best try to relax a bit about this sort of thing, and maybe try and do some more writing for at least one of my stories for a while before bed, or even read my Bible for a while before then. Here is the best I can do for the Far Mountain Away Jersey.

The Black Trim on the Red Lettering is not clean and clear... but it the best I can do... on a scale of 1 to 10, this might be a 6, maybe.

Not bad at all, although I did notice a little spiking on the M and the dot of the I, at least, in Far Mountain, for the uniform. Maybe you should use a different font and put Far Mountain on just one line, if possible? Just a suggestion here, that's all, EC. The cap is good, although it might be worth considering to have some light trim around both letters on it, I think, as well. CD out.

Core States League (Eight teams, two subleagues, four teams apiece in a single division per subleague)

Mid-South League (Eight teams in single division, Affiliated with CSL, Triple A-level)

The starting year will be 1901, in any case, though, for it, once I have everything collected and set up as best as I possibly can for the related quickstart I've been working on for a while off and on. Some teams may not have all their needed graphics, of course, but I'll still see what I can do for each of them here, for sure, somehow. CD out.

August 12, 2021 Update:

Islandian Pro Alliance will be known as the Eudageron Baseball Federation instead, and it will have the four leagues for it as listed, but I think instead of three of them being minor leagues in the applicable framework, they're going to be in a promotion-relegation system of some sort in it.

The Japanese Baseball League may or may not be included after all, once I recreate the above leagues and teams as needed here, working from the last backup I'd made for the applicable dynasty. I haven't decided that yet, but we'll have to see what happens.

Other leagues I may want or need to include in this QS will have to be decided later, if at all. Just so you know this well enough here, folks. May add a few other Japanese leagues to the mix to supplement the JBL and/or provide local competition for it, but not sure yet, to be honest. Please stay tuned on that front as well. Thank you.

I will have to re-add the players you mentioned earlier to the Nashville Blue Sox, it seems, as well, EC. As for Mike Marnie, I might use Eddie Mathews, perhaps, as his base player, or some sort of combination between Kevin Youkilis and Dustin Pedroia, but not sure yet. With the players I'd added per your suggestion before, according to the AI's lineup selections, the Nashville team had Lasky as the main second baseman and Walker, I think, backing him up, at least against right-handed pitchers, the last I've seen so far. I'll think of something, though, when it comes to the model for Marnie, who Madigan replaced in Decker's Blue Sox book series, for sure.

I have everything down to the line of the NABA as of the last backup made in January. Everything below that was done since then, starting with the Core States League line, will have to be redone, most likely, unfortunately.

EC, you posted the wrong NHL logo for the 1950's in your latest dynasty. They weren't using the current logo then in 1955. The NHL logo you want to show is the orange and black logo with the straight-up letters in NHL going diagonally down from the top left to lower right, which they used between 1946 and 2005, evidently. Not the silver and black one with slanted letters going up from the lower left to upper right, that they've used ever since the lost NHL season after the applicable lockout. Just so you know, that's all. CD out.

I just released the next chapter to one of my existing fanfiction stories. So hopefully that will free at least some more time up for either my baseball-related work or my literary work on Lighting Up the Darkness, for instance. I'll most likely have to think for at least a little while on just what should happen in the next chapter of the story I just released a chapter for, I believe. So perhaps I'll be able to make at least some more progress with other projects of mine for a while.

I'll keep you all posted, as possible and all here. And hopefully what's ahead for my other current major projects won't be too hard to do or reconstruct and all, of course. I'm a bit frustrated right now when it comes to certain projects of mine. But life doesn't always go as planned, you know, folks. I'll still do my best, however, to be sure, in any case.

I was aware of that... I just wanted to use an NHL logo, so I used that one... it was one of the first I found and was listed in Wikipedia.

I like that font... and no matter what script font I use, it is subject to spiking... I don't know how to fix the spiking... other than to use non-script fonts that you can add trim without spiking.

Yes, you are right... there is a little spiking on the font trim... but it is not very noticeable, especially on the game screens.

Two lines for Far Mountain looks much better... I can make the team name larger by doing it on two lines... "Far Mountain" takes up too room on one line... I prefer it larger, so I put it on two lines.

The Black Letters look fine on the cap in the game... I tried white and gray trim and didn't care for it.

Near the top right of the M, near the F in Far, is where the spiking is on the M. The spiking on the dot is in the top left of the dot for the I. Do as you like, though, with your items, of course. CD out.

If you would like, improve the Far Mountain Redhawks... just use Red as the Primary Color with Black Trim... no texture for the jersey or caps.

Use a script font... make the Away Jersey Light Gray so it will have a good contrast with the team name.

If you do it better, I will use it for the IPA.

If you can provide preferred and/or exact color codes to use for Far Mountain, I'll see what I can do for you as soon as possible. And if you could provide desired imagery, that might help as well. How many championships have they won, of any type, too? It might be useful information here to also consider, perhaps. CD out.

CD, just do something similar to what I did... hopefully you can do it without the spiking on the font.

No texture... that means don't use mesh or cotton texture or jerseys or caps.

catchland is the font... it is free.

Far Mountain has won 3 Pro Cups... but there is no need to put this on the jersey.

Make sure the contrast is good between the jersey color and the team lettering.

Do it similar to my version... and then do another one in the way you feel inspired... just use Red, Black and Gray colors...make the cap Red because the team name is Redhawks.

If any graphics guys read this thread... feel free to jump in and do your own version of the Far Mountain Redhawks... the more choices I get, the better.

Use Redhawks on the home jerseys... use Far Mountain on the away jerseys.

Prefer home whites and away grays on jerseys... with a red cap on home and away... just use FM letters on caps... no images.

Use your choice of font.
Use your choice of primary and secondary logo designs.

Team Colors:
Red (191, 0, 0)
Black (0, 0, 0)
Gray (191, 191, 191)

Make the cap Red because the team name is Redhawks... please use "no texture" on jerseys and caps.
Make sure the contrast is good between the jersey color and the team lettering.

Would like a primary logo and a secondary logo... put the team name on the primary logo with a Redhawk image... circular or square logos are fine... and just use the Redhawk image on the secondary logo.
Please make the logos show up well on a black background... I use the black skin in my league... I find it is better to use a wide border on the logos that contrasts well with the black background.

If you can use the Redhawk Image, that would be good... it is transparent.
