The photo is of Ted "Double-Duty" Radcliffe, C/P. I'm not sure what to call the uniform. The photo was taken from an April, 1949 newspaper. Ted was with the Louisville Buckeyes at the time. He appears to be wearing a Cleveland Buckeyes uniform. My guess is that his team wore the Cleveland Buckeyes uniform until the new Louisville uniform arrived for the 1949 season.

THE BIOGRAPHICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE NEGRO BASEBALL LEAGUES, by James A. Riley, lists an unknown-first-name Randall, who was an outfielder with the Homestead Grays in 1943. THE NEGRO BASEBALL LEAGUES: A PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY, by Phil Dixon, has a photo of William "Sonny" Randall along with two other players. The photo caption says that the three of them "had been members of the Homestead Grays before being drafted and joining the Great Lakes Naval Varsity in 1944." The attached photo shows William "Sonny" Randall in a Great Lakes Naval team uniform in the act of sliding into a base.
