This Brazil doesn't have the movement and tempo of past sides though. Without that, they're not able to press the opposition back like the best Brazil sides of the past could, so their defence will come under more pressure against a side - like Ghana - who aren't afraid to go for it.

One further note is that we are on course to pass 350 cautions by the end of the World Cup tournament - 80 more than the previous record (272, Korea/Japan, 2002).
