We are 2-0 vs the Sharks this season.

4 games in 3 days vs the Sharks. a double header on Friday. The Sharks are in 2nd place and I'd settle for a split. Solid team, Simmons is struggling with hos bat but he covers a ton of ground in CF and we can;t run on him. Their rotation is good with Big Train & Roberts but after them they are beatable. Their pen is very good. Offensively they are doing very well but are in the middle of the pack in stats.


I placed RP Farani Nikolo on the 15 Day IL. Still don't know how long he will be out but the staff is tired to begin with and i needed another arm. I recalled P Semyon Shevyakov and he will come in relief for Ramos in the DH 2nd game. C Bob Kendrick started his rehab assignment and I hope to have him back on Tuesday vs Stryper.

Ramirez pitched really well despite the 4 ER. Blondell with the 2 inning Save in Game 1 of the DH.

In Game 2 of the double header, we didn't do as well. Ramos was tired and struggled, Shevyakov was terrible. Evans was ok and apparently Kennett is a decent RP.

Delgado RP Farani Nikolo will miss 13 months. He was moved from the 15 day IL to the 60 day IL.
Pontiac SS Raphael Roccourt has a 5 Hit game.
South Side Hitmen DH Rush Booroojian will retire after the season. He is one of the best hitters in the last 20 seasons and of all time.

Christy pitched well despite the 7 Hits. Jim Dominguez came up from Middleton because he's a LHP and he was rested. He pitched very well.

Nøkleby was very tired and he gave me what he could but I probably left him in too long. Nunez, who was well rested pitched terrible. Terwey & Kennett were ok.

We played a bit better but having the entire rotation be dog tired hurt during the ATS series. I am shaking up the lineup going forward to try to put the players not only in a position to succeed but in the spots where they have had their most success. While we rank near the top in most stats , we are still struggling in games when it seemed like we should have dominated.



We finish the month with 3 vs the Red Devils, and 3 on the road vs Bird City.


Losing Nikolo til next season will hurt us but we are fairly deep in relief pitching at AAA. For now LHP Jim Dominguez will play. Eventually Juan Sanchez will be back to stay.


McCovey, Broadhead, Kat, Humbert & Collier all had a great week.


Terwey, Ortiz, Kennett, Dominguez, Blondell, Otani, Evans & Boskovic all had a good week.


Kennett will be a 2 way play going forward. He might start a few games as a SP as well.

The Devs have come back down to Endor after their great season last year. They still have a great rotation and a very good Pen. Their offense is still an issue. R.P. McMurphy has just 36 ABs this season. He has 617 career HR.



New faces:
SP Jose Toro was with CPT last year and had a solid season.
RP Jason Davis was with BRK and had a 1.01 ERA
RP Tim Federoff was with BRA. He had a 5.19 ERA.
RP Peppino Reineri is a rookie and should be a super star eventually.
1b Tomislav Andric was solid 1b early in his career but is no longer.
Rf Troy Hutchinson is a rookie with good pop. He is not a good defender.

Otani had a good game overall. Ortiz & Blondell were really good. Tugger & McCovey both had triples which helped. Having Kendrick back behind the plate helped encourage the Devs not to run.

Ramirez pitched really well again, scattered 8 H over 5 innings. Jim Dominguez pitched 4 great innings for his 2nd Save. The offense exploded with Kat hitting a GS.

So far this season the Falcons are struggling a bit but there is not doubt that this team is just as talented, if not more so, then they have been for the last 4 years. Tonka & Wisnewski are no longer rookies and they are among the AL's best. They lost RP Sox for the season, which will affect their pen. The have a solid rotation and a very good pen. They are an excellent defensive team, can hit for AVG, power and speed. Their only major weakness is that you can run all day on C Cumani.


New faces:
RP Jose Dias is a rookie who could be a SP eventually.
RP Clyde Gonzalez is also rookie who is suited more for long relief than a SP.
RP Bill Novo is coming off 2 terrible seasons with RT but he was solid as both a SP & CL for Delgado 2028-34.
RP Shadow just came up from the Minors after Sox went down. He is a decent RP.
DH Marcello Ghislieri comes over from BRA where he hit 15 HR .237. Prior to that he had some very good years as far as power with SD.
Lf Lorenzo Hernandez hasn't has a good year since 2032 with TOR. He was not in the Majors last season. He can play multiple positions.
Cf Nate Dogg is coming off of a terrible season with HL. Prior to that he had some great years with RT & MAD.
2b Benji is a rookie 2b. He won't replace Bone but should be a capable backup.
