We played well vs a good team in RT and terrible vs a bad team in Skywalker.


We play 4 @ WB then 4 vs ATS in 3 days. then a much needed day off.


I acquired utility player Brad Broad bent off of Waivers. He can play all 4 IF spots and LF/Cf. He is a lefty bat. His production should be similar to Mercedes Benz but he is a better defender at 1b, LF, CF & 3b then she is. He has some speed. I had RP Juan Sanchez up for a game but he did poorly and I had to make room for Broadbent. Triple B gives us defensive depth.
Seinfeld, Kat, Hogan, Kennett, Perez, Eidsvag & Humbert all had a good week. I'm going to use Young as the lead off hitter vs RHP vs WB to try to get him hitting.


Nikolo, Evans, Mathewson, Ramos, Ramirez, Ortiz & Otani all did great last week.

We are 0-3 vs the Warriors this season.


The Warriors seem to always be in the race, especially vs us every year. They were predicted to be below .500 but i knew they would be good. Whether or not they can hang with us all season has yet to be determined but Frog & Self anchor this staff and are doing well. The rest of their rotation is beatable. Their pen is good to a degree but not as good as in the past. Dostie, Orban & White are good. Offensively Kelsey, Smith, Miller & McCarthy are carrying them but Holden & collier are good also.


We need to at least split the series to stay in 1st place.

Ramos pitched really well until the 6th then he fell apart. i brought in Evans and he didn't do much and gave up the lead. In the end we were able to get to Dostie and Blondell came in for the Save.

Otani had a some walk issues but only gave up 4 hits and the defense and offense were superb. I put Seinfeld in the #2 slot since he's hitting .345 vs LHP despite being 2-7 vs Self. I was going to bench Kat but Tugger needed a day off and I didn't want Broadbent in vs LHP. Ortiz pitched well in relief.
