My opinion:

The problem you're seeing with the lack of mods these days you can blame on all the "woke" trolls on here who cry about the "Cleveland Indians", or whine about the lack of "women" in the game, or the clown that was insinuating the game is "racist" because a few black players in the game had bad "teammanship" ratings, and ingrates like the "game" who act entitled to any request they may make, or even OOTP itself banning a certain politically "right" team name on perfect team.

Hate to break it to you, all I want to do is enjoy this game without some "believer" inserting their "social justice mission" opinion that they read on huffpo editorial. Yes lefty, please keep your politics to yourself! All I'd like to do is share my work with some thanks, but when I ask for that, I get some slack mocking me about "he's just bitter no one likes his high school unis".

Enough is enough.

I like you two guys as much as I can online, and you two have never been rude or pretentious on political views. EC I really appreciate you going through and giving thanks for all those unis I made. You are one of the few who are truly grateful.

All sports were ever intended to be was an outlet and reprieve for the working class, a game, a pastime, something to escape to, now it won't leave you alone without telling you what to think for the "cause", and these "true believers" enable it with their self centered rhetoric, and now that they're enabled, they have made a point to double down and infest this computer ball game site..

It's sad and all so tiring. Why don't all us Americans get together and fight over the "Vaxx"...One more step towards "normal"....

It's people like you that greatly increase our enjoyment of playing OOTPB.

It really is special to see all of the great logos, jerseys and caps when I play out all the games in my new South Island League.

This is the first time I have ever played out all of each game in my dynasty leagues... in the past I have played from the 5th or 6th inning on in some of the them... in the Islandian Pro Alliance I play out the playoff games from the 5th inning on.

I'm grateful for your work as well, Lawn Loaf, and I can't wait to see what you do next, either. I hope you can get back to your high school thread soon, and finish up Minnesota, for instance, including schools I and/or others may or may not have privately requested of you from there earlier. But there is no need for you to rush things with that thread or any others you've created in the past, of course.

Family matters and matters of a spiritual nature, for instance, are much more important in the long run than making graphics or playing mere games, for sure. Making graphics pales in importance to many things, both in this life and in the one to come. As do many other things in this life, as well.

We are all part of one SINGLE human race, not multiple human races, as biology proves, whether or not one believes in God in this world of ours. We all have the same basic genes, more or less, and are able to do many of the same things as others like us can do, with some obvious physiological differences and all, of course. No matter what our skin tones/colors may be, we generally can, at least for the most part.

That's simply because we were all made by the same Creator God, with God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, according to the American Declaration of Independence. And each of us was created equal in His eyes, from our very beginnings, as mortal human beings with souls, inside our respective mothers' wombs, at that, as well.

I see nothing wrong with the use of certain team names as long as they are used respectfully and all. While certain imagery may not necessarily be as respectful and all as it probably could be, I admit, that doesn't mean that certain team or location names are inappropriate for use in certain situations or contexts, I think. I see no problem with using American Indian-themed names and/or imagery, et cetera, when appropriate and all, at times, if used respectfully and all as stated above. As a matter of fact, according to my mother, I might just have some American Indian ancestry, possibly Cherokee, if memory serves me correctly here.

I'm DEFINITELY not for needless censorship or cancel culture, among other things, but people are going to think and do as they like and all, whenever possible, whether justified or not. Everyone should be free, within fair and just reason and all, to think and say and do as they wish, just so long as they are not directly harming anyone needlessly. Sure, some may be offended by others, at times, of course, but that is something that is often unavoidable for people in this life. People shouldn't be afraid to stand up for what is true and right and all in this world, no matter who may potentially be upset, no matter what it may be in it. But we also must be kind and all, as well, whenever a particular situation and/or person might ever require it, I think.

Here are two new uniforms for the Lexington Lexicons. I have not found any uniforms made for them yet on the forums, it seems, to go with the attached logo I found somewhere on them, if memory serves me correctly, nor any caps. But if anyone has any such items, or thinks they can do better than me on such things, if they haven't already been made, they're more than welcome to try and make them here, and/or share them here, if they like and can.

Now I admit I'll likely have to work on this team's potential items more, of course, at some point. But this is what I've done so far for them, to be completely honest with you all here, and I'm also attaching the logo I found that someone else obviously made. Although I really don't know just who may have made it or where I got it from exactly, if it was gotten from these forums in the first place, to be sure.

In any case, here is what I have so far for the Lexington Lexicons, whether I've made these items or not. Thank you. That is all. CD out.

When you get your league ready to play, let me know which IPA teams you need to complete it and I will post them for you.

Will do. I still need to make more caps, however, as time permits, for certain teams. And i probably will need to search for suitable logos or request logos before I'm done setting everything up for the teams that have caps and uniforms by that time. Finding more time of late, because I've been stuck on Lighting Up the Darkness more than I'd like lately. Want to complete first-draft work on it by December, but that doesn't appear to be very likely at the moment.

Am still stuck on Chapter 14, you see. If I can get past Chapter 17, hopefully the last eight chapters will be much easier to do. At least for the most part, anyway. After Chapter 17, there is really only one real important chapter left in the story, that being Chapter 24, with the final battle of the story taking place in it. Hopefully once I get past Chapter 17, which I plan to make the climatic chapter of the story, the last eight chapters shouldn't be too hard to do, somehow.

EC, do you have anything for Mike Marnie? Wasn't he a Blue Sox player or something in Decker's series of stories? Just wondering, that's all. Did some more work on the quickstart, adding more players to Nashville for it.

However, it seems that some players' names and adjusted dates of births seem to have disappeared now for those that are in some of its leagues' free agency pools, including the MLB one. I'll obviously have to re-import the necessary MLB players over time, while I'm still trying to move ahead with my main story, it seems. But I still think I can do it easily enough, just the same. It may not be as easy as I'd like, but I think I can still do it somehow, in any case.

I have several teams to do caps for to go with uniforms I've already made, but if I can stay consistent with the colors and fonts, that shouldn't be very hard to do, perhaps. And, of course, I'll probably still need help when it comes to logos for them, if I can't find or recolor other ones easily enough first.

Several of the IPA teams have been done recently by a number of the graphics makers here. But I still might need at least some of knuckler and/or txranger's, at least, related items that I've not yet been able to find or download, for instance, as well. As far as stadiums go, I'll probably look to see what I have currently available for potential use already, before I see what else is out there for me to perhaps download later. I'll keep you posted, of course.

CD, all of my IPA stadiums are 2D... the 3D animation will not work with them.

I suggest that you use the 3D stadiums that come with the game.

I just use the default 3D minor league stadium for all my IPA playoffs and for all my South Island Leagues... that makes it easy for me... I still keep the names of the original stadiums in both leagues, but just use the same background for all games.

I don't think anyone has done any updates on my IPA teams lately.

I updated some of them on my own and they came out fairly good.

Still, my work is not very good in comparison to the good graphics guys... cephasjames did a much better job on the Charlotte Hellfire than I did.

I posted mine in hopes it would get the good designers to get involved in the project.

cephasjames did a standout job doing all the teams he did.

His work is at the MLB All-Star level and sparkled... my work was just Low A in comparison.

Well, I think I saw the name Mike Marnie associated with the Blue Sox somewhere, but not sure where I did, if so. If nothing else, I'll pick a random player from history, and rename them to that, if I can't find more information myself first that might relate to the book series, I believe.

As for my original teams that I'm also including in the EBF-related framework, I should be able to create some caps for them all, hopefully, to go along with the uniforms already made for them. But several logos may have to be created later for them, of course, if I can't find good ones to use or recolor appropriately enough.

I will see what I can find and download and use from your IPA teams, but when it comes to knuckler's work, at least, I may have to get them from you and/or someone else, obviously. Seeing as his PB account or accounts don't seem to be active any longer, or at least not right now, anyway.

There are probably at least some logos on these forums that can be used for teams like the Grand City Giants, for instance, but first I might have to look for them, if I haven't already. If I find suitable enough logos, it might just require some perhaps minor color changes for them to be usable enough with the appropriate caps and uniforms, of course, for certain EBF-related teams.

Perhaps you can mine for potential information in that book. I read Johnny Madigan's story in "Good Field, No Hit", but I don't have access to it to do research... I just don't remember anything about Mike Marnie... I have never included him in the Blue Sox players.

Don't worry about Marnie... you already have almost all of the major Blue Sox players.

I was thinking about rebranding the Cold Creek Raccoons in my IPA. There's a brewery not too far from me called Cold Creek Brewing, so I was thinking of renaming them the Brewers.

Cold Creek is going to be the Choppers, and I am going to use some of low's great work for them, in my EBF, quickstart-related or not. I think they were the Catamounts once upon a time in EC's IPA, if I remember him telling me that a while back in this very thread correctly enough.

Speaking of Brewers, I still have an open graphics request for Milwaukee that should incorporate a brewing theme not related to alcoholic beverages, but to tea or coffee-brewing, if not both. But nobody's filled it yet, it seems to me, if they eventually will.

Come to think of it, Low made a set called the Hops. When I was playing my North American Baseball League one of my favorite teams was the Milwaukee Hops. Cold Creek Hops has a nice ring to it, so I can grab that set and make the change for next season.

jg2977, posts 561 and 562 in this thread mention the old names for the IPA teams that have changed their nicknames since the creation of the IPA, just so you know. Cold Creek was once the Catamounts, for instance.

As for certain teams, I'm going to continue searching the forums for teams I can grab items for here. Although seeing as knuckler, for instance, no longer evidently has an accessible Photobucket account, I'll probably be unable to click on some items and download them unless they've been reposted in the intervening time by others, of course.

A good number of my created teams in my EBF will at least need one or two logos apiece made, if I can't find suitable ones to use or perhaps recolor, for them, I think. I still have to make at least some caps for a number of them, to be sure, but that hopefully won't be too much of a problem, once I'm able to match them up with the relevant uniforms I've made for them already.

I have a few IPA teams with items found and downloaded for, at least to a degree, by now. But I still may want to see what else may be available for potential use by those teams, I think.

Please stay tuned for more information to that effect, if and when you like, folks. IN the meantime, I'll see what I can find and/or recolor and/or make for various teams. It's unlikely, however, that I'll be very likely to be able to make some own original logos myself for them. Or actual stadiums, even with the BCK OOTP 21 has now.
