Found a very nice Fair Haven Mariners logo you requested from lloydbentsen many years ago, EC. Unfortunately, they're no longer active, nor can I access the Photobucket items they no doubt created years ago, it seems. A team-related set based on that logo would be really nice to see for many here, if at all possible, I think.

You guys really must have had some fabulous designers around here before the forums evidently changed here. Most logos from before 2013 or so don't seem to be too easy to get from these forums, as far as I can tell. Or whatever was on these forums before they changed to how they are now, more or less.

Or before the Photobucket issues started, for instance, as well, come to think of it. I've also noticed that they changed the looks of things when it came to uniform and caps-related pictures here, as well. Instead of the uniforms and caps looking quite like those seen at Dressed to the Nines, they look quite different, to be sure.

I think the original looks of the Colchester Elites that jdew did sometime prior to the widespread use of justafan's software, for instance, looked really nice, to put it somewhat mildly, when I originally saw them, if memory serves me correctly enough here. Rather interesting looks, to say the least. And I liked how they were put together, generally speaking.

I really wish I had been around much earlier on the OOTP/FHM forums than I was, but we can't exactly change the past now, of course, as you know. We all can only move forwards, not back in time, obviously. Will write more later, as time allows and all, I'm sure, Lord willing. CD out.

Yes, CD, this Mods Forum was a really great place.

There were many active graphics designers who would do requests... some of them would also do revisions for you as well... it was the Golden Age of Graphics with at least 20 excellent graphics designers.

It has changed in the last 3-4 years... the designers began to create threads of their own... no problem, I am fine with that... with the justafan software many people made their own... I even learned to make my team logos, jerseys and caps, but only half as good as knuckler, Iseldelyod, Hankyu Braves, rocknfire7, justafan, txranger and many others...jdew did all of my All-Time All-Star League jerseys and caps...nowadays, it has become harder to get personal requests done.

There are a few graphics designers who will do an occasional request, but not like it was 5 years ago... you could get an entire league done at that time... thank goodness, we still have trxranger, low, Lawn Loaf and a few others... they have wonderful threads where we can download their marvelous creations.

Already saw it. Really like knuckler's work in it, for instance. But his pb accounts are no longer active, it seems. Liked the Eastshore Cotton Kings and Turon Typhoons looks, among others, in the thread, for sure.

Unfortunately, when I try to get things off pb, they seem often to be in webp format, whatever that means, so can't apparently use them as needed or desired, I think. I have tried, of course, to find and download many usable items from the forums. But many posts no longer show the graphics that undoubtedly were present for them previously, for some yet-unknown reason or reasons. So obviously those items can no longer be grabbed by anyone.

I saw nobody has yet commented on my attempt to make items for the Zebulon Zips with more traditional looks for them, unfortunately. Hopefully that will change soon, though. I tried doing several items for them based on your earlier suggestions, EC, to be sure.

I liked the mascot image for the Cybercats in the applicable thread, but early on in the EBF-related framework's history, Grand City will be represented by the Giants, seeing as the EBF and certain other associated leagues' histories all begin in 1901, for the relevant quickstart.

Thank you for your time and attention and advice and all, EC. I expect to continue setting up the necessary leagues and nations and all while I'm still stuck on matters related to my writing projects, as best as I can, and all. Some teams I've done still will need logos made for them, of course, at some point. Whether I'm somehow able to make them or not, they still will, in any case.

I don't know where or if I will be able to include the Zebulon Zips in the EBF-related framework at some point yet. But I still do hope I can, for sure, somehow. It's a nice set I've done so far, I think, but certainly not quite as good as I'd like it to be.

CD, I have all of the IPA logos, jerseys and caps, both old and new... if you ever begin play in a league that you need some of them, let me know and I will post them here.

CD, you have the ability to make traditional-style jerseys and caps, you just don't do them in a traditional style with traditional colors.

Most people want traditional styles and colors.

If you made them in the style and colors that txranger, knuckler, low, and others use, people would like them... but you continue to use strange colors and strange styles... that's why no one uses your jerseys and caps.

I'll probably try to improve what I have for the Zips later, you know. But it still would be nice to see what others think of it as well, I think, within reason and all. Not quite sure how I'd do a set themed around the Israelite Tribe of Zebulon yet, though, or sets themed around the other Tribes as appropriate, if I were to try and do them somehow.

I did these in a traditional style and used just basic colors.

If you want to make jerseys for people, do them like these... then they are more likely to use what you make.

I realize my work is just average... but I think they would use mine over yours... because my style and colors would be preferred.

I know you want to help make people jerseys and caps... you are a very nice person... but you have to please them, not yourself.

I do happen to like these various items, to be honest. As to whether or not I actually would use any or all of them in any of my leagues, that is yet to be determined, of course. But I'll still see if I can't make more items similar to them in the future, no matter what teams they might be for in it. Whether it's for the Zips or not, EC.

I do want to be nice and gracious and not hurt your feelings, as well, so I'm being as honest with you as I can be, for sure. Honesty is normally the best policy for people to follow in this world, you know. Especially when the Bible says one should not lie, as well.

I'll try to take your suggestions into account here, as always, and all. As far as teams recently mentioned here by me, I think the Tuckanarra Blue Jays, the Bayview Vikings, and the Sugar Valley Rattlers are the ones I'd most like to be able to have right now, preferably with undated logos at the present time.

It will be a while before I have all the needed graphics together, still, though. Such as graphics for the Core States League and its related affiliated leagues, for instance. But right now, I already have requests outstanding for a few teams, if memory serves.

And I don't really want to repeat my prior mistakes here on the forums at all, if I can possibly avoid it at all, of course. So I've tried very hard not to flood the forums with new request threads, for sure.

I would like to see, however, how others might do a Milwaukee Brewers concept based primarily around tea or coffee-brewing instead of basing it on the brewing of alcoholic beverages like beer, for instance, though. But nobody's done such a concept yet, it seems, for whatever possible reason or reasons here.

We'll have to see what happens with that request, but if they don't actually want to see what they can perhaps do in that sort of thought-vein, then I have absolutely no problem at all with that. I mean, they don't have to do any graphics they don't really want to, you know.

Now I don't know if anyone would find that idea interesting enough to do here, or at least to attempt doing here, but I hope at least some people would, of course. I mean, just like beer and other kinds of alcoholic beverages can be, have been, and will be, brewed, tea and coffee have both been brewed, are being brewed, and will be, brewed every so often in this world of ours.

Seeing as that is the case, and has been the case, and likely will be the case, for quite some time in the future, I thought, "Why not see if others might be able to come up with concepts for items that would likely be much better than what I likely would be able to create myself somehow, at least as of the present time?" Or something like that, most likely. So that's why I made such a request thread earlier. You should also notice that I basically gave any and all potential designers here pretty much free rein as to how they could potentially approach the idea with their possible concepts here, as well.

I doubt that anyone will do the Milwaukee Brewers using coffee and tea... you are the only one interested in that concept... Milwaukee is the "Beer Capital".

You would have a better chance of getting your requests filled if you made traditional requests instead of offbeat ones like the Milwaukee Brewers based on coffee and tea.

You also would be more successful if you would make your request more simple.

Just say I would like logos, jerseys and caps for the Milwaukee Brewers using Coffee or Tea Images rather than Beer Images.

Please create Primary and Secondary Logos... Home and Away Caps and Jerseys.

You write too many details and make it too complicated... in general, no one will read all that you write... it's too complex.

Just keep your request simple... don't request team sets for four different eras... 1901 - 1940... 1941 - 1970... 1971 - 2000... 2001 - Present.
no one will do that many for you... you will be lucky to get one set.

EC, The main colors I chose in relation to the Brewers-related request are are visible here:

Specifically, a green color, a brown color, and a whitish color, in fact. I will make the changes to the original request, though, and try to be more concise and all, like you suggested. I was trying to be precise, and all, with the request, so they knew exactly what I was looking for, in any case.

Here's a map for the Eudageron islands of Lyshwilna and Tesbolerel, as things stand for it now. A number of places and nearby bodies of water on this map do not yet have names for them, of course. But if any of you might want to suggest possible ones to use for them, please feel free to do so, if and when you like, within reason and all. And then we can see if we can create players from places on those islands or others, if you want me to try and do that here, once everything's set up as best as possible for Eudagero, game-wise.

Hope you like this basic map, and hopefully other versions of it can soon be made as well, obviously. But that may take a while, just the same, I think, folks. I'll keep you all posted, and hopefully we will soon see gameplay for the various leagues in the EBF-related framework, at least, if all goes sufficiently according to plan and all, in the meantime.

If the third color for the Milwaukee Brewers was white, why didn't you post white instead of the fafafa, 250, 250, 250 Cultured, which looks white with a very light pinkish tinge to it.

I did not want a pure white shade, which would be 255, 255, 255 on the RGB scale, but a slightly different shade of it, so that things might look nicer, if done, EC. I was giving some specific color codes for said request to avoid potential confusion, and to be more precise with my request, you see.

Not being precise enough at times with requests of mine in the past has caused trouble plenty of times before, of course. And that is something I was trying to avoid with the Brewers-related request here, for sure. Hence my attempts at being as precise as I could be with it.

I don't think I will include any Japanese leagues in my planned quickstart after all, like I was thinking of doing earlier. But we'll have to see what happens with that quickstart, after all. In any case, I will still need some league logos, among any number of other things, before I'm done working on it. As for parks, certain ones will likely have to be made or loaded up for specific teams by those who might play it and test it out, of course.

CD, I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but I don't think anyone is going to want your quickstart once you finish it... it is not your mass appeal or mainstream type of league... you will be the only one that will play it.

Creating this quickstart league will take a tremendous amount of work and time... and you will never get the logos and stadiums you need.

Sorry, but this is the real world you live in.

You can use default logos and stadiums, but creating special logos, jersey, caps and stadiums for the league will be almost impossible and highly unlikely.

Why don't you just create one small league... get logos, jerseys, caps and stadiums that have already been created by the great graphics guys... and enjoy playing a league... don't worry about maps and a gazillion teams.

Keep it simple and just create one league and play it.... that's what most OOTP Gamers do.

I know you love your fantasy baseball world and want to see it created, but you also have to be realistic, too... it's not going to happen on the grand scale you imagine.

Lower your expectations, create a small fictional world and league and enjoy playing it.
