Just got in from our semi tonight and am about to embark on a quick celebratory pint. We destroyed Cockfosters with a four goal blitz from Adam Greenway in the second half to give us a 5-0 triumph and a place in the final.

Sadly we've also lost the lead in the league tonight as AFC Wimbledon have beaten Carshalton, but we've now got a game in hand and they've got eighteen points more than they should have, and will inevitably lose at least some of them even if the league folds to their bullying.

Barcelona's in disarray right now. They need to work out their lineups, or they're going to come up empty in La Liga as well as the Champions League.

Lille in an entertaining match? Seems a bit of a stretch. It might be a tense game, and it could turn into an entertaining battle, but as far as football goes Lille have always been grinders and spoilers in Europe. I'd bet they'll focus on stopping United playing and look to nick a goal from a set piece. If they actually have a real go before the last twenty minutes I'll be amazed.

Intensity caused by a sense of extreme injustice should make Lille play this match at a higher level. So far, their MFers arent able to supply Wingate.
