Thursday, November 6, 2092 MORSE NAMED IPA POSTSEASON MVP IN CLOSE VOTE, O'MARA AND TATE 2ND AND 3RD IN VOTING Forest City first sacker Cyril Morse hit over .400 in the playoffs and propelled the Firebirds to the IPA Pro Cup Trophy, the second time in IPA history they won the coveted trophy. In a very close vote Morse outpolled two of his teammates, pitchers Matty O'Mara and Thomas Tate and was named this year's IPA Postseason Most Valuable Player. Morse received 35 votes, O'Mara 32 and Tate 31 in the balloting by the broadcasters and sportswriters. No one else received any support. The 25-year-old Morse had a splendid postseason with a .403 BA in 15 games. He collected 25 hits in 62 ABs with 3 doubles, 1 triple, 3 homers, 15 RBIs and scored 13 runs. Morse just barely beat out two starters for the Firebirds, Matty O'Mara and Thomas Tate. O'Mara stood out the playoffs with a 3-0 mark 4 starts with a splendid 1.20 ERA. Teams only hit .216 against O'Mara in 30 innings. The 24-year-old right-hander fanned 19 and issued just 6 bases on balls. O'Mara has made the TU All-Star Team 3 times and won the TU Golden Arm in 2090. Tate was 2-0 in his 5 starting assignments with an impressive 2.58 ERA. The 26-year-old left-hander was even tougher to hit, only allowing a minuscule .194 BA. Tate struck out 42 in 38 innings and walked 7. Tate has been named to the Tycobbian All-Stars 5 times. EC has to do my radio program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
I will finish us the 2092 IPA season with the awards announcements. Then it's on to season 2093 --- just 8 more seasons to the magic number of 100 seasons. The IPA will retire at that point. jg2977 had asked to continue it at that time. That is fine with me. Jeff is a good guy. He will do it justice. A special thanks to all of you who take a look at the Islandian Pro Alliance so often. EC very, very much appreciate all of you. Also a very, very, very special thanks to the unsung heroes of the IPA, the great graphics guys that have done the excellent graphics over the many years. Have to thank txranger, knuckler and Hankyu Braves for their great work and talent. txranger, knuckler and Hankyu Braves played a big part in the success of the IPA over the years. Thank you, guys, for over 1,000,000 views... and it's still climbing. Last edited by Eugene Church; 02-16-2026 at 12:47 PM. |

Thanks for being so very supportive of the Islandian Pro Alliance.
I owe you a tremendous thanks of gratitude. It was you who told me to add logos, uniforms and graphics to my dynasty. You inspired me to do it. I then posted I needed graphics help from the graphics gurus on the Mods and Graphics Forum and they created logos and unis for my 64 teams. It was a huge and massive project for them. Because of your suggestion, when I got the wonderful team logos and uniforms, my viewership greatly increased from 50 views a day to over 200. Good graphics are really important. I think they are responsible for 50% of the success of a dynasty league. They make my league come alive. StLee, you have a darn good dynasty yourself.... very creative and imaginative with good graphics. 776, 734 views makes it very special, too... not many dynasties around with those kinds of numbers. You should be very proud of your Fallout 4's Commonwealth Baseball Organization. It is one of the top 10 dynasties of all-time.. might be one of the top 5 of all-time, along side of Westheim's Portland Raccoons, Jiggs Magee's All Things Figment dynasty and reds1's United League of Brealand. Westheim past the 1,000,000 views mark last month. I think he has the most popular dynasty in OOTP history. He is a very clever and witty writer. Saturday, November 15, 2092 IPA GOLDEN DEFENDERS ACCLAIMED BY RUTHLANDIAN UNION AND TYCOBBIAN UNION Many IPA performers make a name for themselves with their gloves. Their brown and black gloves turn to golden because of their defensive prowess and skills. The Ruthlandian Union Golden Glove team was lead by 4-time winner Tomas Lizano, a catcher for the San Dimas Firebrands. Claxton center fielder Greg Kendall was elected for the second time. Taranto right fielder Kevin Harshman was the only rookie in either league selected. Pacing the Tycobbian Union Golden Glovers were Cape Coral first baseman Barry Cranmore, White River shortstop Rusty Reich and left fielder Bum Loxton. All three were honored for the second time in their careers. 2092 Ruthlandian Union Golden Glove Team 2092 Tycobbian Union Golden Glove Team Last edited by Eugene Church; 02-19-2026 at 05:06 PM. |
