I've begun working on WindGuardian's new Zebulon Zips request, but we both may still need help with at least one or two logos for that team, folks, at some point. Please stay tuned. I might also do something else for some other team, or at least one item for another team, but don't count on it being completed today.

For eight years ago today, my autistic younger brother left this world and went Home to be with Jesus for eternity. This calendar date has always been bittersweet for me since his departure, but I am still glad he's no longer suffering in a broken body and all. Praise God and thank God for that being true for my brother, to God's highest heaven! CD out.

But I won't likely be able to do any original logos for this team, or at least not yet, anyway, I think. Hey, EC, what do you think of these Zebulon Zips items? I won't likely be able to make related logos for them, of course, but I think these items look fairly nice so far, at least. CD out.

If WindGuardian likes the Zips, that's all that matters... he is the one who requested it... and he is pleased with it.

Why do you want my opinion?

CD, as you know, we have very different tastes in graphics styles and colors.

I prefer traditional jerseys, caps and logos.

Technically, the jerseys are done well... the contrast is fine... I would like to see what the jerseys and caps look like in the game when they are all put together... show them home and away if you can.

My Opinion:
The colors are not basic baseball colors, but that is your style... you are quite flamboyant in style and color... I think that is why many people don't use your work, they prefer standard and traditional colors and styles.

If you have the time and want to do it, offer WindGuardian another set that is done in traditional style and colors and see what his reaction is... he may still prefer yours... ask other viewers to post their opinion of your work.

Just use a medium or dark shade of Blue as the primary color:

And create a Home White Jersey, Away Light Gray Jersey... do an Alternate Home White and Away Gray with subtle stripes... maybe add a Blue Away Jersey

Create Home Cap, Away Gray Cap, Alternate Away Blue Cap and an Alternate Home White with Stripes and Away Gray with Stripes.

I posted the Akron Zips jerseys so you can see a traditional style of jersey... try to create something like that.

If you do create another traditional set, be sure to post it in WindGuardian' thread and ask him and others to offer constructive criticism for your original Zips and your traditional Zips work.

I was trying to incorporate railroad tracks or zipper-like details for a potential wordmark in sketches on a sketchpad. But seeing as I'm not a very good drawer normally, as of yet, at least, I haven't yet been able to make an original wordmark for potential use here. Especially when it comes to the z in either Zebulon or Zips, unfortunately.

I was thinking of having the base of the z in Zips continue across the wordmark's base until it formed the bottom and the end of the s for the Zips, but have not yet been able to create such a wordmark well enough, even in sketches. I might not be able to make such a wordmark myself, with or without speedlines being included in it, but there may be some people who could make such a wordmark or ones similar to my ideas for a potential wordmark around here, I think.

I'll probably make more potential items for this team, as usual, but it may take a while. WindGuardian seemed to really like the items provided. But your ideas are certainly worth considering, supposing I've not already created items for the Zips like what you're suggesting here, for sure, EC. Unfortunately, we probably will still need others to do logos for this team as well, of course.

I might just try and do various items primarily featuring the Tribes of Israel at some point, in truth, seeing as Zebulon/Zebulun is one of the sons of Jacob/Israel in the Bible, after all. Of course, I'd then likely have to do items for the other tribes as well. Reuben, for example, might be hard to do, when it comes to the symbol or symbols used to represent it, or the team nickname, but probably not impossible, I think.

I will likely want or need at least some significant help for a physical map version of it to be done for that island, I think. I'm working on filling up another island with various cities, specifically Nederstrup Island for Eudagero, which may eventually have a certain number of teams in my Eudageron Baseball Federation's framework at some point. I don't know how long it will take to fill up all the needed islands for Eudgero as appropriate yet. But by the time I do, I probably should have at least a few hundred place names on a list I will share later with you all, I think.

When I've done what I can with that island's basic map, I'll post it here for you all to look at. But I'll probably need at least some help to get a physical version of it easily enough here. By that, I mean a version with various land features on it, of course. Seeing as I'm not a very good drawer, normally, and that I may not have any applications that can perhaps help me make such a map better, that is.

However, if anyone has any reasonable suggestions for place names or Eudageron bodies of water, I'd really appreciate seeing them, folks, if and whenever possible and all, for sure. In return, as already stated, I could then try and compensate you by letting you suggest players to perhaps create for use with the leagues in the EBF's framework.

It's going to take some time to get everything done as needed for it, obviously. But I still hope to be done setting things up for the EBF's framework as soon as possible. Although it may certainly take a while, depending on how certain things go for me with other projects of mine. Or depending on how certain things go with certain other life-related matters, for that matter. I'll keep you posted as I can and all, then, folks.

Here are two maps for Eudagero's Nederstrup and Colchester Islands with their respective cities/towns/villages/whatever on them. However, some bodies of water need to be named on them, and/or physical maps made for them, it seems. If anyone would like to try and help me out with either or both of them, I could try and compensate you by letting you suggest players for creation that could play in the appropriate leagues in Eudagero.

Cephasjames, if you happen to come across this thread, and see this post, you seem to have accidentally misspelled Bearcats on the B.C. Bearcats logo you posted in another thread here, just so you know. Here's another map for Eudagero, this time for its Lotesenel Island. There are many places yet to be named here, in truth, but if anyone wants to suggest possible place names or names for bodies of water on or near it, please feel free to do so, for possible player suggestion/creation purposes. Of course, this map also doesn't have a physical version for it, at least, if not other versions as well. But perhaps those can be done later, somehow, by someone, whether that someone's me or not, I think.

Here's another map for Eudagero, showing two islands, seeing as they're so close together. I figured, "Why not put them on the same map here, seeing as that's the case?" So here is a map featuring the islands of Albertson and Lagaarde, with many places and bodies of water likely needing names for themselves on or near both islands. As before, if any of you want to try and help me out here, at least in that regard, if not in other ways as well, I'd be glad to try and create at least one player for each of you to have in any or all of the related Eudageron baseball leagues, folks.

Please let me know if and when you might want to help me out here, if you don't mind too much, then. In the meantime, here is the next map for Eudagero. I don't have a physical map made yet, at least, for these two islands, but I do have at least a map of some sort for them here.

I'd really like to know, so I can potentially incorporate them into any of my currently-existing or possible future leagues, where and when possible and appropriate. I've now found multiple Ginza Ninjas and Elnora Clippers-related items. They're two more teams you won't have to potentially send me items for later, I'm sure, or at least not for a good while, EC. txranger did a fabulous job on those items, most definitely, as far as items for the Elnora Clippers. And either you or knuckler likely did the Ginza Ninjas-related items, I believe. Good work all around for that team as well. CD, when you finally decide to actually play a league using the IPA teams, I will be glad to post those teams for you... but let's wait until you have set the league up and are really going to play it.

All I ever see you do is collect graphics for future leagues... you don't seem to ever play the leagues you design.

I just don't want to waste my time posting team graphics that you might use months and years from now.

Let me know when you have your league with IPA teams involved and you are going to actually play the league, then I will help you.

Am working on the quickstart again that I mentioned earlier. I've not had much time to work on it, for the most part, for a while. But seeing as I'm currently stuck on a few of my writing-related projects, including Lighting Up the Darkness, for instance, I figured I should work more on my quickstart-related project.

So I've been working on it, along with various things related to Eudagero, for instance. As evidenced by the work on the maps I've been doing more of lately, and sharing here, while I'm trying to figure out how best to proceed with my writing-related projects that I'm currently stuck on.

Maybe working on this quickstart will give me some ideas that will help me with those projects of mine. And besides, if I don't finish it, then others won't be able to play it themselves, of course. Seeing as I'm stuck on those projects, at least at the moment, I'm going to be working on this quickstart and related matters for at least a while longer, I expect, as long as that continues.

I have most, if not all, of the needed leagues set up, I believe, as needed, but I just need certain graphics before I start advancing the calendar and reporting on the teams and leagues for that quickstart, EC. I don't think I'll be adding any more leagues to what I currently have for the quickstart at this point, to be honest.

Thank you for your input and all, in any case. Here are some screenshots to show you what I have so far for the Eudageron Baseball Federation framework, for your information. I'll talk more later, as time allows, of course, Lord willing. We've surely been quite blessed with tons of excellent graphics from people like txranger and knuckler, to name just two. I really hope that knuckler eventually shows up again here, but he's been away from these boards now for quite a while, unfortunately. But life happens, and people often go inactive for whatever possible reason or reasons in this world, in various ways, you know. I hope he's in good health, but if not, I hope he's still around, of course.

In any case, he always has been a guy with real class for himself, as far as I can tell, to be honest, around here and elsewhere. Just like you, for instance. Perhaps someday we'll all meet him in person, even if it's not in this life, Lord willing, you know. I can't wait to meet you one day, if possible, even if it isn't in this life, for sure, EC. To be honest, EC, I'm a bit frustrated that I am stuck on a few projects at present, and I'm trying to deal with some other things at present, which I won't go into here, for various reasons. But let's just say that I'm trying to relax about certain things where and when possible and appropriate, and let God lead me as I need to be led and all.

I am also trying to remain silent at certain times, if and whenever I should be silent at such times, and to speak only if and whenever I should speak about certain things or people, as appropriate and all, to be sure. However, just like everyone else on this planet now, I'm certainly not perfect yet at all. And I definitely still make mistakes from time to time in my life, of course. One day, when this life is over, I finally will be perfect, but not until then, and not by my own efforts, but only by the will and the power of God, for sure.

You are a real treasure to all those who know you, I firmly believe, and I pray often that you be granted many more years in this world, if that be our Lord's will, of course. But, eventually, no matter who we are, we will all leave this world somehow, for our eternal home.
