Garlon - I haven't purchased through Steam. Is this otherwise available as an entire package elsewhere? Thank you.

Wondering if someone can help me troubleshoot an issue with the Comiskey 1986 park? When I see the park on the "park profile" page it looks fine, but in game, three of the four outfield floodlights are black. The cityscape background is also missing during a game as well. Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks in advance and thanks for making all these ballparks.

I needed to update the texture for the lights for all of the parks to work in 21. Must have missed this park. I’ll throw the update up in a lite bit

Thanks for the quick reply, with the update. The cityscape is showing up now in game, but three of the four outfield floodlights are still black when I'm in a game though. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I'm playing in OOTP 20 if that makes any difference.

I noticed the same thing. Is there an updated file for 1986 Comiskey and where do I download it? I’m using OOTP 21

Ok, so I looked back at version 20 and saw what you mean. Works fine in 21 though .Weird. So I looked at my model and saw there were multiple textures for the lights so I cleaned that up and it works now in both

I uploaded the latest version

I was trying to use your 1962 Dodger Stadium and noticed the night time sky background does not work. It just stays as day time even during evening and night games. The file is labeled dodger5 and there are 2 other day and night files as well. When you remove the dodger5 file then in-game there is just a black background. The day and night files do not work by themselves, only the dodger5 one does and that is a daytime background. Is there a fix for this? Thanks for all the work you do to make the game more enjoyable!

One thing I've noticed lately is the pitcher is sunken in at the pitcher's mound...any way to fix that?

It’s because I built my parks with raised pitchers mounds. The game doesn’t support this and the player model is in the same plane as home plate. I am redoing all of my models to remove the mounds

Potentially dumb question - why does Meiji Jingu Stadium have such a high HR park factor? It causes some really lop-sided box scores whenever I go visit there.

American League Park 1901-03 has a big "Google Earth" text in the background. It's quite immersion-breaking.

Should be fixed in the upcoming update. I think.

New versions of each historical Park is now available to download

I have spent the better part the last month plus updating all of my parks. I have finished them and now it is about organizing and uploading to be available.

I have uploaded the historical stadiums here:

http://www.mediafire.com/folder/nrz7...Sketchup_files)

Note, I have created a new folder for what I call "Lite" versions

This is a zip that does not contain the sketchup file to save considerable disk space and download/upload time. I will upload the heavy versions later at some point.

Also, it is going to take some time to organize and update the first post on this thread with individual links to the lite versions.

So, what's included in these updates?

every park should be updated to inlcude:

- New Infields
- The infield no longer sits on top of the grass, but is part of one texture.

- No more raised pitching mounds
- pitchers will no longer look like they are standing in quicksand on the mound in those behind the pitcher views

- Updated 3D park grids
- re-aligned all of the park grids to make sure there are little to no collisions with the fences (still may happen in the game, but out of my hands)

- updated inside dugout textures
- screenshots from MLB the Show give the dugouts a more realistic look from afar

- better 360 degree experience
- All parks (except domes and fully enclosed parks) now have 360 degree panoramic backgrounds. Special thanks to adion who has provided many of the pano views and is still working on some at this moment

- Light fixtures and other details added around the park to make for more realistic views from the outfield camera angles

- All Domed stadiums are now fully enclosed

- entry portals have been added for most stadiums that have them

- Different seat colors have been added to some parks as part of a new feature in OOTP21

- Additional versions of some parks have been added

- new versions include:

1938 Briggs Stadium
2012-2014 Citi Field
2015 Citi Field
1939 Crosley Field
1925 Forbes Field
1923-1939 Polo Grounds
1990-2015 SkyDome (with Sliding Pits)
1948 Tiger Stadium (Rebuilt from scratch)
1980 Tiger Stadium (built off of the 1948 build)

- many other smaller touch-ups where needed

Enjoy, and let me know of issues.

Mike

Thinking about how to re-organize the first post here.

How should I order the Stadiums?

A. Alphabetically

B. By the Teams that used them

c. Some other way

Both A and B, where possible and appropriate, in chronological order, by franchise, I think.

For instance, all Braves-related stadiums, from Boston to Milwaukee to Atlanta. You could do this with each franchise, starting with the earliest ones and working towards the most recently-created ones, for sure. Maybe you could make a list of all parks a particular franchise used when you list the teams in alphabetical/chronological order, as well.

Hope these suggestions help, of course. CD out.
