We've had the summer of a lifetime here in Sweden. It has been so hot and dry that many of the leafs are yellow and red allready. Looks like in October allready.

Last year there was no summer to speak of. It rained non stop.

I'm with you KC, freezing and wet down here in Bendigo (thank goodness for the rain though, as we've been in drought).

Magazine route sales ... I deliver all the magazines that go into grocery stores (Wal-Marts and Krogers). Some stores I just drop them others I go in and put the magazines on the shelves. Easier in the winter because I don't sweat to death. Also deliver all the books to some chains also (Krogers)

Load about 175 50lb tubs on and off my truck a day. No lift gate so I lift each one off the truck and load the returns back on. At the warehouse I back up to a dock and drag stacks of totes with a hook on and off the truck.

Aaah..I can see why you prefer the winter for your work. Sounds like real hard work mate.... My fist job when I left school was as a Gravity Diecaster in an Aluminium Foundry. Man I used to hate working in the summer as we kept our furnaces at around 850 Degrees Celsius.

That is certainly a job I would not be able to handle, as I had major spinal surgery when I was a kid, and although I have very good upper body strength, the constant lifting would probably be not in my best interest.

well, that loss pretty much ends my playoff chances.

Ray Mercer going 0-2 doomed my team there, along with Mark Johnson going just 1-1

On a side note:
The halftime score between the haymakers and the tornadoes was downright ugly. 3.5 pts? Seriously, can anyone even do any worse than that? And with that beating the haymakers pads up their lead in our division even more

Damn Earl Walls, damn him to hell. I was rooting for a clean sweep in that first half just cause it's something I thought we would never see. This whole match was just brutal to see though, I think it's safe to say that Chris has the record for biggest beatdown on lock forever probably.

Somehow, thats just wrong, but keep watching, as it just might get worse.

Greg, hang in there! Your day will come! I felt like you do after the Haymakers whupped the Binks 81-23. You upset Diggstown, so don't lose heart. The week after the Haymakers stomped us, we upset the St. Louis Sluggers (after training with you guys).

So come on down to Baltimore and enjoy our hospitality. I'm inviting Hugh and Left Jab as well, and we'll all get ready for our final matches in Season 1.

And maybe the Bink bus took a little detour after visiting Diggstown and trashed the Hebron headquarters? I've gotta get the Gazette out.

Left Jab Inc has had enough of the "Bink Hospitality"..LOL. Like every season,I thought I had a decent squad that would at least compete for a playoff spot..nah. Well,I have Hebrons draft picks(not all that great considering the success)and my own, which should be excellent,so I am open to deal. I have to just quit going after guys I like and start grabbing the best fighters, especially since I lean more towards the boxers instead of the brawlers and that isnt a good thing in the UTBA. Even with the improved scoring you still need to have guys who can get their opponents out of there. Well, good luck to everyone in their last match and early congrats to those who made the playoffs in this crazy, crazy inagural season of UTBA II. Peace.
