Morning Kiwi.

USA beating England in the 1950 World Cup would be bigger even if Australia beat Italy today.

Your average fan in England doesn't care, your hardcore fan does because it's an americanisation ( Is there such a word, sounds good though lol ) of the game of football when most of America couldn't care about football. I'll always call it football but up to people what they call it although rather them call it football, but I know hardcore fans who despise it being called soccer*.

It's probably the same all over the world, you ask any hardcore NFL fan what they would think if the world started calling football (American kind) American Rugby.

There are ways of getting the game even quicker (although I perhaps shouldn't discuss them here).

People care in New Zealand too. As some people refer to Rugby as Football. New Zealand Soccer recently were told to change to New Zealand Football by FIFA, it was reported that this was a worldwide edict although i'm not sure if it will take hold in the USA

I taped it but im not happy with the picture quality/ The stadium and the way the sun interacted with the pitch turned a simple football match into a work of art.

Im on dialup so it would take days to download. I will pay whatever you ask for a copy!!

I think Sepp Blatter was wrong publicly castigating the ref in the Portugal/Holland game. That sort of think (if it needed to be done) should be kept private. Blatter must be on some sort of popularity drive.... pity he's such a tool though
