Good week overall. the offense has been doing better and for the most part the pitching did well.


We have 3 @ RT and 3 @ PON this week, so another fairly easy week.


Humbert, Young, Eidsvag, Kat, Tugger & Tarlac all had a great week.

Rotation was great other then Ramos. Ortiz was great, everyone else was average or bad.


I tried traded ramos this week. Once to Brooklyn for Fairweather Johnson and once to Glenbard for SP Ed Beck. Both times Ramos was claimed which canceled the trade. i claimed P Emmanuele Frezetti from the Kraken and for the rest of August he will be my 5th starter. Frezetti has great stats in limited appearances for them. i also sign RP Shane Jones and DFA'd RP Sean Gallagher. Gallagher was claimed by someone. At this point Ramos will not make the playoff roster.

Jones was having a solid year with Ford and i do not know why they released him. He will pitch in middle relief for the year. Solid P overall with FB & SL who keeps the ball on the ground.


SP Emmanuele Frezetti L/L #76
Emm is having a good season but the UBL is not the EBL so I exoect their to be some type of dropoff. Still though a good P although probably better as a RP. He is the 1st Gungan I have ever had on a ML roster.



Morales will be back in a week and that should help the Middleton rotation a bit.


If the pitching was as good as the Fire offense is, this team would be in contention.

After a disappointing start the 1st 2 months of the season, the Rockies have been respectable. They still have a great offense led by Quinn Ransom, who need just under 100 HR to catch Kevie Oko for 1st all time in HR. The SP on the Rockies has been bad and they have traded away every major arm in their pen. The Rockies have several of my former players. Bill Lurte, Bill Novo & Wrigley Field. We only have former Rockie CL Robert Cooke.

Ferzetti struggled but it is hard to pitch in Rocky Top. Ortiz pitched 3 hitless innings and Cooke is 18 for 18 in Saves as a Tiger and records his 1st Save vs his former team. Kat, Young & Tarlac hit a HR.
