Silva..wondering if you have any plans on adding a new Tiger Stadium from 1955 on? Because I am sure Al Kaline didn't play in the 1938 look. Thanks.

Well I guess your 1970 could be for 1961. Here's Clem's diagram's (which I
know you use). Look at the 1955 one..kinda looks like your 1970. That's probably what I'll do is just use your 1970 for 61. http://www.andrewclem.com/Baseball/T...dium.html#diag |

If interested, this link shows all the park dimensions through the years. One other thing I found was night baseball came in June of 1948. Obviously, I'm getting bored with this "stay at home" stuff. ![]() Last edited by zappa1; 04-12-2020 at 05:59 AM. |

I think the download links for all the Arlington Stadiums are not working.

How do you use the .rar files?
I know how to add ballparks, but .rar files never work for me.

Green Cathedrals by SABR
I have the 5th edition of Green Cathedrals from SABR, which contains stats and descriptions of many older 19th century ball parks such as outfield distances, wall heights and compositions, home plate orientation, etc. Could the master ballpark creators here use that info to construct those older ballparks: Sportsman's Park I in St. Louis & Union Park in Baltimore, for example?

Has anyone seen the new Jomboy & Five Points Vids ballpark youtube videos? Each has different parks in each video. Was wondering if you could make any of all of the parks.

Not planning on doing pre 1900 parks. Just not enough evidence and I can’t translate books descriptions to a model good enough with my limited modeling knowledge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is a mod on the Steam Workshop titled Major League Stadiums 1901-2019 by Silvam14. This has 156 stadiums and a custom file that provides discrete park factors for each season since 1904. The custom file will also load the parks automatically when you create a new historical game, but at the beginning of each season you will need to go to Edit Ballparks>Actions>Auto-import data for all parks to get the stadiums to update for that season. Keep Expand League Automatically enabled in the game.

As far as modeling grandstands, etc. are concerned, there isn't much to go on in many cases. As far as dimensions go, in the cases where they have complete figures, they are based on sound & considerable research. Sportsman's Park (I) AA/NL St. Louis Browns 2 May 1882 - 13 October 1892. Home plate in NW corner. LF: 350, LC: 400, CF: 460, RC: 330, RF: 285. Backstop: 70 feet. Fences: 4 ft tall, made of wood in LF & RF; no mention of CF. Capacity: 6,000 (1882), 12,000 (1886), 3,000 (1901)

There are too many stadiums from 1871-1900, probably around 100. The stadiums that they have made are enough..

Perhaps there are players who play during that time period 1871-1900, and would like to use those parks. I like playing during that period myself. There are 13 pre-1900 ball parks in Green Cathedrals that have the dimentions of the field, & some description of the stands that aren't in any collections. I have a copy of the latest edition & simply asked if anyone was interested in the info. Then offered an exanple of that info. If no one is interested, that's fine. No need for the negative tone.
