Actually, I just saw them taking the tarp off the infield. Yankee Stadium is right on the edge of this rainy blob that I am in, so there is hope that the game will get started on time.

Geez, do the Yankees suck this year. I signed off of them for the season in my other thread, so I will say it here, given this opportunity. Too bad for Boone, because he's going to be fired for the futility of these losers.

Let's see if Walker can no-hit these clowns.

Nope, foiled by the only Yankee who is consistently doing something this year. I don't get the crowd, cheering enthusiastically for the first hit of the game in the sixth inning that reduced the deficit from eight runs to seven.

Boom-Boom Diaz is such a ******** ****, if he was any more of a ******** ****, I would be at a loss for words how much of a ******** ****** ******** ******** he is.

Edit: I think I broke my desk. But my fist had to go somewhere when he gifted the bogus run to the Brewers on a walk, another walk, and drilling Yelich in the bum. All with two outs.

I will send the invoice to the Mets for using that ******** **** in a game that counts at all.

My TV malfunctioned last night and showed multiple digits next to the Mets' logo on the line score. Maybe a side effect of the storm in Queens the other day.

Anyhoo, I hope this Frazier guy has a bad series so the Mets don't throw anyone important at the Pirates for him.

They all do it these days: Stroman is doing alright, 5 hits and 3 runs in 5 innings with only 68 pitches. Yet the Mets take him out (in a 7-inning game, mind you) and the relievers blow the game.

Anthony Recker was fine as fill-in, but I prefer Keith and Ron. I need Keith and Ron like a 3-year-old needs his blanky.
