Ended the month with a 5 game losing streak. Laurence lasted .1 IP 7 ER yesterday. With the exception of Doug Johnson, Brett & Mack no one else has hot much the last 5 games. Arashikage will be back for the Baltimore series.
Looking at May's schedule we play 4 average to below average NL teams. PHI, WAS, ATL & TOR. We are hoping to regain a decent lead over Seattle.

Monthly Standings

Pirates, White Sox, Mets & Dodgers lead their respective divisions. Royals are really bad. Wildcard race is wide open.
A look at the NL East leading Mets. Kinda surprised Duggleby only has 3 HR.

Capitals, Falcons, Brave & Cougars lead their divsions, Caps are all world right now. The expansion Lions are really bad.
A look at the all world Capitals. No SP has a loss. Tigger Johnson only has a WAR of 1.1...hmmm ok.

Millennium Falcons & HawkBats lead their leagues. Wildcard as always is wide open. Thought Royals would be in the mix, but Shoeless Joe Jackson has been injured most of the month.

We are struggling. Having Arashikage back helps and Morris is hitting .312 the last 2 weeks but the Bench Mob is weak. Claxton cant seem to hit. The defense is suffering also. The pen outside of Regger & Jackman can't seem to pitch in tight games. Changes might happen soon.

4 games vs Tampa Bay. Decent team that seems to lack offense right now. Led by Jobling, Myers & Guerrieri. If their CL comes in they will probably win.

Glenbard Cougars LHP Fred Meyers throws his 1st No Hitter. It is the 1st No Hitter in the EBL since 2017, the 21st overall and the 3rd for Glenbard. (Kanter & Pipgras)
Citizen Kane had a great game vs the Rays.
Chimera sign another pitcher.
Ewoks sign 2B Josh Rutledge. I wonder if this will force Teebo to the bench or to DH.
Mets lose 20 game winner Walker Weickel for 3-4 months. he should be back in time for the playoffs.

Garret is the oldest son of Bo Jackson, former White Sox, Angels & Royals OF.
(Actual age may differ)
Garret loves playing for the White Sox but he is not quite tje player his father was. While he does hit for a higher avg, he does not have the speed his father had. They both are very familiar with striking out. Bo's highest strike out season was 1989 at 172 K's. Garrets's highest is 198 in 2017. Both led the league. Garret is 30 HR's shy of his father's 141. They are both a 1 time All Star. Garret's best friend is fellow Sox player and son of a former Sox player, Sterling Thomas. Most call Garret Pops since he is a veteran and among the older players on the team that have played their entire career with the Sox. Despite not going to college out of HS, Garret has his Masters from St Mary's in Minnesota. Garret recently signed a 3 yr extension worth 15.3 million that will keep him in a Sox uniform for a few more years.
Update on Garret Jackson. He is having a good 2019 campaign. He is tied his his father in career homeruns. He has more hits and a higher career average.

Next Series: Toronto Blue Jays

3 games vs Blue Jays. I have a feeling this team will get our RHP pitching a hard time since they have 9 left handed batters vs RHP. Other then that they are having an off year. Kirsch & Dwight Smith Jr are having off years. David Key seems to be a good LHP. Which is another thing we are not that great vs LHP and we will face 2 of them this series.
