The big news today is the at-long-last debut of the Rays' biggest free-agent signee Ha-Seong Kim, who was activated off the 60-day IL after offseason shoulder surgery. To make room for him Curtis Mead was sent to Durham.

A move on the pitching staff as Joe Rock is sent back to Durham and Joe Boyle is called up. Speculation is that Boyle will be used in tandem with today's starter Drew Rasmussen so today's pre-play used that strategy:

Today's big news is the trade with Baltimore for reliever Bryan Baker, who should move into the primary setup role in support of Pete Fairbanks. The Rays sent the competitive balance draft pick they acquired from Oakland last winter to the Orioles in return. To make room for Baker, who made it to Boston for the game tonight, they sent Eric Orze to Durham.

Figured I'd sim the Derby with Caminero participating, and this is the lineup and order according to MLB:

Junior didn't win but he did have the best single-round performance (27).

Brandon Lowe was activated off the IL and Curtis Mead optioned to Durham.

I refreshed the Live Start, although I realized once I started the game I forgot to put the Rays in Steinbrenner Field, so this one shows the Trop.

I will be traveling this weekend so I may or may not get these up before the real game starts.
