That likely needs to be updated as the game has changed a bit since then
I think I would prefer if the editable stat line was just the "Current" line and was tied to the current League Totals.

Although, I guess that would probably lead to criticisms like "I edited 20 players to where they should hit 80 home runs and they all underperformed" or maybe people would be upset that the same ratings list different stats for different saves, I don't know.

You know, can't please all of the people all of the time and all that.

But how is "modern neutral environment" a good compromise? It's only on the money for a single year and likely that's not the year being played.

But then using the default LTMs for the year for expected stats doesn't hit the target either. They're not what the game is going to use after its test and adjust routine. This system of talent doesn't matter is a dreadful thing. OK, where's the guy who started the save will all terrible players to see what happens.

I never said anything was a "good compromise". I would appreciate it if you would stop saying I said things I did not say.

I think after all this time you still don't quite understand how this works? Or at least purposefully pretend not to in order to troll the forums. Either way, the routine is tired.

Talent (or I think you mean Current Ratings) absolutely matter. A player who has a higher Power rating than another player has a higher probability of hitting home runs. That is how it works whether Auto-Calc has been run to adjust the modifiers or not.

I hope someone has asked that guy whether he is running Auto-Calc because that will make a huge difference in his results. That is the feature, not the bug you want to portray it as.
