I think the end of the race is going to be exciting. Max is going to have to pit again, if Lando can keep him from pulling out a huge gap it's going to be tight.

Well, it didn't do Leclerc and Ricciardo much good.

I was hoping Lando would let Hamilton through quicker so he'd have enough time to have a terrible accident with Dutch Max, and then Lando could have driven past the smoldering wrecks to the W. But nah. This podium sucks.

Only Nick Heidfeld (13) has more podiums than Lando (12) without ever winning a race.

I was mildly confused about this until I saw

He led the race for like three seconds at the start, and then for a few laps, briefly and futilely, while they were on split strategies.

Lando went from 17th to 5th, won Driver of the Day - more Driver of the Days than any other driver this season! - but I screamed a few times because it was so close in those chicances.

I still can't believe how McLaren went from being nowhere for half a season to almost matching Red Bull's pace in the second half. I hope their next car is this competitive.

new factory upgrades for mclaren and the dev offset of red bull having less wind tunnel time will mean at least one car will catch up, right? here's hoping i wont tune in to bahrain and see max getting up 1 second on the first lap next year...
