PT IS LITERALLY MARKETED AS HALF THE GAME!. I know you've only been here for half as many as me, but this isn't the first time OOTP and Markus has advertised a major feature that wasn't ready for release. PT has been pumped HARD from the OOTP team for over a year now. If the OOTP team didn't feel as strongly as they do about it they wouldn't have promoted it as hard as they did. And the only reason it's not being promoted currently is because it's not ready for 23, despite 23 having been "fully" released last week.

If the OP had specified his issues I would have done one of two things. Not commented at all or, if he was simply repeating what we already know asked why not just keep it in those threads?

So your upset because someone calls out low post counts? Fair point, I agree. However your answer is to insult long time posters? You said you would argue long time posters wasted their time more so than you. Again fair enough it's your opinion. But you doubled down that that was a fact. That requires a response the same you felt you needed to respond about low post users.
So, I simply responded that a lot of those long time posters have done and still do a lot for the game.

Well the OP hangs out here a lot and should be well aware that Matt already said he hoped for a patch by the end of this week. So I'm back to why post something so useless instead of just waiting the extra couple of days and see what is in the patch?

Everything you said there is fair. I agree with that.



I'm looking forward to the patch and have all the confidence in the world that the devs are working hard and going to get this right.



My entire beef on this specific thread is the idea that the 10 post guys have no valid input and only complain. Those 10 post guys are the guys who only speak up when the product that they paid for has issues, hence why they "always complain". Just because they don't chit-chat on here all day and night, stacking meaningless post counts, doesn't mean anything.


OOTP gets my money every year and will continue to get my money every year. I've recommended the game to countless people. Once it's patched I'll be investing more time into the game than what I care to admit. The postives far, far outweigh the negatives. That said, right now I don't have what I consider to be a functional product in OOTP 23 so I guess I'm stacking up some Negative Nancy, Mr. Complainy Pants posts.

I don't even know fully what PT is since I dont play it - but I know for fact it's been their most heavily promoted feature for over a year now....... so do me a favor, run the analytics, sim out a whole bunch of crap for me, crunch some numbers, good-will-hunting it up for me on the chalkboard and then let us all know the precise percentage that PT accounts for, rounded off to the nearest hundredth of a percentile. Please and thank you in advance..... GTFOH
