A 9th inning rally by the Blue Jays turned a one run deficit into a 5-2 win over the Yankees.

It was a bullpen day for the Jays but the batters stepped up. George Springer went 3 for 4 and Toronto saw homers from Bo Bichette, Giancarlo Stanton, Danny Jansen, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. as they smashed the Yankees, 11-2.

Rafael Dolis left the game with back spasms but word is that he will just need a couple of days off.

Teoscar Hernandez had a very good day at the plate, going 4 for 5 with a home run. Unfortunately, it was Cleveland that had a bigger day as they beat the Blue Jays, 11-7.

Reese McGuire also homered for Toronto.

Seth Beer went 3 for 4 with a home run and two doubles as the Jays beat Cleveland, 7-3.

Trent Thornton took a shutout into the 7th before leaving with back spasms. It is not expected that he will miss his next start.

Danny Jansen also homered for Toronto.

Andrew Perez came in to make his Major League debut with the game on the line.
Instead of a great memory, he notched his first Blown Save as Cleveland walked him off, beating the Jays, 5-4.
